Have Agrekko owners been a bit slow/deficient since if they had put in an offer 1-2 yrs ago the price would surely/phs have been much lower. When it was 100p many shareholders might have accepted 200p phps.

Western Selection should be a bit annoyed with themselves since they were original founding IPO investors at ~100p (& had board presence for many many years) & in recent years made big reduction in their holding, at 100-200p to move the money to invest in blue chip stocks. Ouch.

A good earner for you. I took a % & then moved to other shares, I would have done better to have stuck with it, ah well.

Some insider buying in the last hour in advance of the Sky news item about a take over offer.

At least we know the excellent UK financial authorities will fine those people in the coming days. Just joking ! Nothing will be done, as always.

Noting that he works for a company that is paid to promote/publicise shares.

Just what's been reported. Perhaps that might flush out a higher bid. The Harwood stable have the majority of the shares. Perhaps they want to take the cash and look for other opportunities. It's too cheap imo.

The IC's Simon Thompson writes on "top-performing small-cap fund" Rockwood Strategic, highlighting its stake in LOAD:

"The holding accounts for 29 per cent of the fund’s NAV and my 350p target price is conservative."

BTW, I still have a MODEST 400p/share valuation on #LOAD, but reckon @Crestchic_UK
could exit 2023 on a £15m+ EBITDA run-rate.

Which on based a 10x multiple & 30m shares - gives 500p.

Indeed still lots to go for - which is exactly what @RockwoodStrat said this morning.

Today’s move up in the LOAD share price may well have been prompted in part by a very positive site visit report published in Stockopedia in the investor comments section of SCVR. Very positive article and worth a read for any current/potential holders.
