If Intuitive do make an offer it will have to be a stonking premium to where we are today...the hard yards have been done by CREO, and the company is in the foothills of commercialisation.

CREO is an obvious target for Intuitive. It is a case of when not if they acquire them.

Worth watching this video from Twin Petes Investing. CREO mentioned from 35 mins in.hTTps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vvvHAjV2ywQ&t=3610s&pp=2AGaHJACAQ%3D%3DDiscussion/speculation that Intuitive (a behemoth) who CREO have a multi-year agreement with could be a potential acquirer of CREO. hTTps://creomedical.com/latest_news/collaboration-agreement-with-intuitive/

Looks like the contract was awarded yesterday. Link: hxxps://bidstats.uk/tenders/2023/w45/810156402

It's a framework agreement between 54 suppliers, the 62M is the total for all suppliers, so CREO should see a share of that, no guarantee of how much.

The 180M value is the total for the entire framework agreement (which can include options to extend).

Have these contracts just been awarded? It says yesterday's date and some big numbers washing about with £180m and £62m. It says "share" by the £62m so that could be a much smaller amount or is it £62m of the £180m?

Can anyone clarify?

Surely they have to RNS that if it is that big

For the birth of something new, there has to be a happening. Newton saw an apple fall; James Watt watched a kettle boil; Roentgen fogged some photographic plates. And these people knew enough to translate ordinary happenings into something new.Alexander Fleming

Current environment such news not having much effect when previously would have moved it by 20%. I think not many traders around in current market. Better prices for longer term investors to accumulate.

Interestingly someone over on the OBD thread who seems knowledgeable posted last night that "CREO's tech only works for villous and tubular adenomas and early stage invasive cancers, which are a small minority of cancers in the UK". Has anyone got any comments on this?

I've been following CREO for a while. Traded a bit before but am now considering a long term position. The tech looks amazing but I'm slightly nervous about taking a big position in a lossmaking company worth over £100M, in shaky markets...Can anyone provide any insight into CREO's competitors in this sphere? Thanks.

If ever there was a time to buy it is now. How many people will look back in 18 months and ask themselves the question "why didn't I buy when the share price was so low?" Its a terrible time to sell if underwater but what a time to load up at a massive discount.

I get by trading long Master Investor :-)

Rarely go short, but yes, they are the winners right now. Some of them must find it hard to miss. Maybe it is getting so straightforward to short of late, that it is potentially another sign (with the likes of flows into bonds and cash interest) that the markets here aren't a million miles from the bottom.

The markets go up most of the time too....apart from of late ha

Haven't had a proper look at UPL, but seen some bits. How often do you see a penny play like that attract, not only a bid, but an absolute whopper of a premium of a bid? There will be a gazillion shares on the offer at much lower price points. Nearly always is in those penny plays.

It smells off that. VCP, DARK, ANX...there are a few out there that smell off.

Nothing major has hit the book here so far. Volume only sat at just over 1m.

Time to wander around the market again. See if anything catches the eye.

All imo
