29/11/2023 16:53 | I hold AGFX - their CEO (and founder) was axed without any thanks and they issued a (relatively mild) profit warning a couple of weeks later. Still not really sure why he went, but clearly expectations were not being met. I'd imagine it could be a similar scenario here (I'm not a holder but its in my watchlist). | dr biotech
29/11/2023 15:55 | What is a profit warning when there are no profit forecasts in the market? Nothing to declare | gdjs100
29/11/2023 15:50 | A problem is that their NOMAD is not top draw. So one does not know. | sidam
29/11/2023 15:26 | I would think if it were a profit warning etc they would have had to declare it? | deanowls
29/11/2023 13:35 | Wish I sold when I was in the money... seems a long way away now | randomover
27/11/2023 11:52 | Bit worried about what those numbers will look like. Turbulent times. | its the oxman
27/11/2023 11:20 | Major "bust up";Bernard Johnson is 78,so whilst a retirement might be expected in normal events;you would expect thanks for services would be given. He is the third largest shareholder & has been with CRL over 20 years & was part of the team, along with the present Chairman, that turned round the failing original business by refinancing and merging it with the Peterborough based Potter & Moore business which the team and the present Chairman William Mcillroy in particular had bought from its then liquidated parent company. This formed the bulk of Creightons on going business. Interim figures to September are due and hopefully matters will be clarified. | 1tx
27/11/2023 11:06 | No doesn’t look good but valuation is so cheap. Results should be quite soon hopefully they will do a presentation and can shed more light on what is going on. Shareholder communication is awful here except for interims we have had nothing for a year! Would be good to get a broker covering it | sebass
27/11/2023 10:48 | Any guesses as to what has gone on here? | deanowls

17/7/2023 09:10 | A good, positive write-up in the 14th-20th Inv Chron mag, based on CRL improved going forward strategies, new product and a mcap well below book value. At around 30p it looks more than a bit half-decent. f | fillipe
12/7/2023 11:44 | Should anybody wonder why the share price movement this AM, IC has tipped CRL as a buying opportunity. | investor0109
09/7/2023 23:24 | Gonna be tough for a while here. | its the oxman
07/7/2023 15:56 | Results tell me that as a business CRL heading in the right direction, albeit the share price is not of late. A return to profitability, more efficient running of the business and sales steady. Latest acquisitions doing their job in diversifying CRL’s offering, offsetting fall in own brand sales. Market appears to have unrealistic expectations, during what is perhaps the most difficult business environment in decades. A short term view the cause of low share price and in my view, will recover with improved economic outlook. That CRL has returned to profitability a healthy sign and I will continue to add on share price weakness with a medium to long-term view of 5-10 years. | investor0109
07/7/2023 10:09 | Much improved results in second half.As with many other manufacturers the lock down & the resultant supply chain chaos & massive inflation in raw material costs bought huge problems. It looks as if we are seeing a return to normality albeit at a lower net profit level than previously. Obviously if we had known in advance of the above events and resultant problems it is unlikely we would have gone ahead with the purchase of Emma Hardie & other acquisitions but that could not be foreseen! For the moment present share price is about right until further recovery is seen. | 1tx
07/7/2023 08:54 | Disappointing update in some ways. Still recovering from the Emma Hardie acquisition and not enough cash to grow | diogenes1960
19/4/2023 17:57 | Check out my latest post on Creightons! hxxps://open.substac | value_spotting
13/4/2023 11:49 | Interesting opportunity | shoots101
03/2/2023 08:55 | Recent forecast of shallower and shorter recession in UK. CRL weathered far bigger storms during past 30 years. Greatly oversold and undervalued in my view. | investor0109 |
