08/3/2022 14:14 | Insane its at a premium | my retirement fund
08/3/2022 14:10 | NAV down to 50.08p. RAVP has stablised now. | cc2014
03/3/2022 12:07 | I sold out of RAVP last week as could see the writing on the wall, took a significant loss at 89p, but, looking a good move at current price. In these for income so as long as they can hold the dividend I'm not too worried. wllm :) | wllmherk
03/3/2022 10:48 | They publish daily NAV's so they do the work for you. I would expect them to hold Raven at market price. Yesterday it fell again and they will have had to write off the dividend yesterday as well so the NAV is likey to fall again when published today. In time I agree Raven will go to zero although there seem to be plenty of punters with no conscience prepared to invest in Russia who don't agree, looking at Raven's share price. I'm a bit shocked it hasn't been suspended. From memory RAVP was 3.4% of their holdings. And much as I like this fund that's the challenge with high yield investments. It's fine until it isn't. I'm not invested currently due to the excessive premia to NAV. I would want a 5% discount to NAV and the chances of that are slim. | cc2014
03/3/2022 10:00 | Not looked at this for a while. Clearly the Raven holding needs to be written to zero and its dividend removed from the yeild. Has anyone managed to do the calculations yet? | my retirement fund
25/2/2022 15:11 | Due today but give it time. Some positive comments about future dividends in the update today with the half-year report. Edit: Divi received in my HL account | redhill9
25/2/2022 14:19 | Weren't we supposed to get a dividend today? No sign of mine... | gostevie63
22/10/2021 15:43 | Ex div 28/10 for 1 pence Approaching 52 week high here | panshanger1
14/10/2021 14:52 | I'm happy to continue holding for the income. The dividend could be cut quite a bit but still give a good return from a wide spread of underlying assets. | redhill9
14/10/2021 11:29 | Dividend income - would love to see a nice dip like we had 6 months ago when a high profile investor sold Then add some more | panshanger1
14/10/2021 11:10 | I’m in for the divi. It pays my gas bill. | ramellous
14/10/2021 10:10 | I'm in it. Solid co and the div | petewy
13/10/2021 16:34 | Sold my entire holding today. Succumbed to the inflation/rising interest rate narrative that is doing the rounds in the press. Definite downside risk and I can't really see much upside. The dividend yield is great though. Are others holding just for that or does anybody see any caital upside? | mjames20
28/9/2021 10:23 | I'm out. This has been a great trade from 46p and I've collected some dividends along the way. I'm sure I'll be back someday. | cc2014
07/9/2021 14:04 | how will new divi tax affect yield | slogsweep
29/7/2021 08:08 | Ex div today | panshanger1
29/7/2021 07:59 | I hold EAT and GSF. You should consider VSL (have been fairly sure footed despite high yeild) , HFEL, DUKE ( Div will rise), MNG, JUP, JLEN (low current share price ). Of the REITs my pick is EPIC and RGL, and of UTs consider enhanced global equity income funds from UBS EGEI and Fidelity GEI | rogerrail
28/7/2021 23:13 | Well I didn't get the price I was hoping for but I sold out anyway this afternoon, expecting the share price to fall away sharply as we wonder what the income might be rebased to and how maturing investments can be replaced. Finding something with this impressive yield will be difficult, but I'm reaching the stage where something sustainable or progressive over the long term is more important. Very impressed with EAT and GRID at the moment. | marktime1231
23/7/2021 20:55 | Yes clear notice in annual report for June 2020 about where the dividend is heading: "Looking further out, the exceptionally low interest rate environment is reducing the universe of possible investments available to your Manager to maintain the Company’s earnings. This makes the Manager’s job harder but, as things stand, still possible. The Board recognises that it is not necessarily the case that the current level of dividends can be maintained in the longer term but it expects that in the immediate future, the dividend policy can continue." | voci
23/7/2021 12:35 | Yes I have put mine up for sale at a cheeky price. | marktime1231
23/7/2021 12:18 | If we see 60p in the next month then I'm top slicing! Buyers still coming through quite consistently which is nice | cc2014
22/7/2021 16:10 | There it is, 1.47p with ex-div 29 Jul, better late than never. Not much of a response from the share price. | marktime1231
16/7/2021 12:31 | Surprised we have not had the big final dividend announcement. Income no different (no worse) than last year. Will they trump last year with a 1.47p payment before rebasing next year as was forewarned at the last annual report, or set the final to the cash coverage now about 1.15p? Nothwithstanding, the oh-so-slow revovery in NAV and share price has been welcome, might we see 60p again ... probably not in this cycle. As an alternative I had been hoping for NCYF to find a consolidation partner, like IPE and CMHY did recently. To save on costs, rebase the yield to something sustainable. | marktime1231 |
