I wouldn't feel that sorry for them, I thought there were 1,500 employees?-

CPP been fined a record £10.5 million by the FSA for the mis-selling, which largely centred around aggressive sales tactics.

mclellan.....The world's made up with some very strange folk that delight in others misfortune, I find it an ugly trait but hey ho, maybe they'll get their just rewards come the day of judgement.

hi Linslader- you are probably right.
I just hate to see people wishing bad luck on companies that are working hard to try and get through a period of difficulty.
I can never get my head round that.

mcleelan, in reality that poster won't spend a penny, attention seeking. There are those that do, and get on with it, and those that don't and spout on and on about it.

How nasty is it to wish bad luck on families working for CPP so that you make money.
What a creep.

I spoke to Helen Spivey just now.(Media Relations for CPP)
The results date is not set yet but will be in August.
It will be accompanied by a forward statement.
She said that with the financial package secured and uncertainty removed, they are in a better position for negotiations to get contracts back. They are in talks with their business partners who are also their lenders.
She said the Banks had been very supportive.
I wished them well

No one expects the results to be good.
This company used to be quite profitable.
It's a question of how the Company is re-structuring so it's their forward statement that will be of interest.
They have been working very hard to succeed again.
I wish them well.
