the buying into the close yesterday was so strong it indicates a leak of some kind

I happen to know earnings are often sent for release 48 hours before the set date for approval / checking, by accountants and solicitors etc

The highest it traded at on the 6th August was 40p exactly - and then only 1 or 2 trades.

If it can close above the highest closing price of 29p on the 5th August, could we see that again tomorrow morning ?
