Don’t worry Ron, us girls stick together at times like these.
Like yourself , I have been smashed to pieces on this, taken an absolute pummelling ( but not the kind I like ).
I find myself dressing more as it helps relieve the stress of it all.
We should meet up ?

Most likely case is that they are suffering massive losses and have had to tell the mrs that they need to sell the house.

Don't let me embarrass you on your poor ASOS short too...

And what RNS are you digging this trollop up from? The FACT is that the shaft is collapsing and the water level is being held.

And what word would you use to allow an opening to accommodate larger machinery than it previously did ?

Widening the shaft sounds better than...

Halting dewatering for immediate shaft repair works amid fears of collapse?

THE issue is he said they are widening the shaft, and I'm saying they are not.

He's calling me out so I would like him to direct me to where the company have stated they are widening the shaft in an RNS.

I don' think that RNS exists, but am open to correction.

It might be a combination of two reasons for the scale of the shaft refurbishment ..a it needs repairs to make it safe for future development b/ Rephasing shaft refurbishment improves the functionality of NCK shaft and enables larger equipment to access the mine at an earlier stage in its re-development.b/from the last results statement...so there does appear to be two benefits in how they are proceeding. It's unclear without widening the shaft itself how larger equipment can be accessed...maybe the steel frame is narrower than the timber one ..either way without confirming with the company and whether it really makes much difference is down to the individual.

And MAR, please read below:

- When dewatering of the mine commenced CUSN announced that it would take 18 months to dewater the mine...
- This leaves 8 months left (April 2025) and they have only reached the 280 metre mark. None of the adits (horizontal tunnels) have been dewatered - most stretching hundreds of meters across.
