This thread should clarify a few things. |
No he isn’t one of us NN. Mill knows him /her supposedly .
I don’t quite follow this captain thing. Is it an investing term or slang ? Though we are in Cornwall so I suppose a sea faring element is relevant here ?. Is he named after a pirate ? |
One of the weakest captains i've ever seen. |
Captain Skeppy ?? Sounds quite bizarre. Ships , captains , mutiny ,walking the plank ! Whattt?? Are you a local Sceptical ? |
Ex-Captain skeppy couldn't cope with leading the boo holders to calm waters. Mutiny! We made him walk the plank off his own ship, and mimi took the wheel. |
T+H , is he one of us ? I think only a few of us are holding this at the moment . Millennial , do you know Sceptical ? |
Interesting meeting with management recently. Lots to think about |
Oooh I say , if it isn’t sceptical investor. How are you darling ? I recall you took quite a pummelling on hooboo or something ? Years ago . |

milleniall
Don't be patronising, there's a good chap.
I expect them to do just that, or postpone repayment, which often happens in these cases.
I always saw it as a stop gap whilst the new CEO finds his feet, and then tries to find the serious money. Ultimately I think there will be a large equity raise here as part of the funding. |
Welcome back Ronald. |

Highley I am not forgetting the short term loan facility. The loan is a complete rip off and sorry to damp your spirits but CUSN are not going to be making money by 31st March 2025, infact at this rate the mine will be full again of juice so how do you propose that they pay the loan? with another loan? |
millenial,
You're forgetting the short term loan facility
In accordance with the AIM Rules (Schedule 4), the following information regarding the Facility is provided below:
· Principal: US$9,145,000 (£7,000,000) · Lender: Vision Blue Resource Limited · Borrower: Cornish Metals Inc. · Term: 31 March 2025· Interest: 15% p.a.
· Security: Fixed and floating charges over Cornish Metals except mineral titles in the UK which are already pledged as security
· Conditions: On the repayment date, repayment of the full principal amount and accrued interest up to and including the date of payment |
Toast, well done for doing all the 'leg work' for the crippled investors.
CUSN's financial statement is just a sign of recent woes.
CASH at end of period 31st Oct 2023: £32 million 30th Sep 2024 £3 million
Nearly all cash reserves gone, in less than 12 months...
£29 million used in 11 months = £2.6 million per month.
With only £3 million from the end of september i'd say that has already gone and will be looking to raise cash (significantly diluting existing shareholders) |
