29/6/2005 17:08 | Has been going up but no comments from anyone. Any interest or does the shareprice say it all? | daisymax
26/6/2005 11:23 | A confirmed outbreak of tipping has erupted here. Anyone looked closely at the balance sheet. | blueliner
24/6/2005 17:40 | Tiped in Sharewatch and now IC, must go up | rogerl
21/6/2005 11:41 | rcktmn - why not buy some more if you are confident of seeing £4.00 soon and make some money ?? Go on, 917 shares brings you up to a nice round 1000, and will cost you (at 3.25/share and £20 dealing), a nice round £3000. At £4, the whole is worth £4000 Go on, you know you want to .... DYOR etc etc etc M | maxibrit2
21/6/2005 11:37 | That's the way Noddy ! C'mon Noddy keep it going... onwards and upwards..to £4+ then i can sell my residue 83 shares ! (with a little profit from the pre-split days!) | rcktmn
21/6/2005 11:19 | Indeed, indeed gerry ... | bargain
21/6/2005 10:39 | Yes and mostly 'donated' by the hundreds of small shareholders getting rid of 333 'here' and 666 'there'. When will they learn that the institutions have been giving clear signals that they want this stock? Why give it to them for anything approximating the current price? | gerrystewart

17/6/2005 23:56 | C'mon Noddy... wakey wakey ! £4 share price beckons! | rcktmn
11/6/2005 13:37 | As I posted on 20th May, this is a main recommendation in "SHAREWATCH" June 2005. Monday should be good for these shares! | squintyflinty
31/5/2005 10:33 | I can see good news about this in the results for 2007/2008 but what is there in the mean time? I think maybe a period of flat for the next year or so? | user
26/5/2005 14:24 | Gluttony/obesity/bul :-) | phillis
26/5/2005 13:09 | >Spurrier Having seen the series about animation on TV and what they have got away with over the years, which they couldn't have got away with in a book or with actors, I suppose they could animate BB. Couldn't be any more controversial than Monkey Dust or South Park. My Gran used to have a whole attic full of BB annuals (& Rupert Bear) until they got thrown out years ago, much the pity. | yump
26/5/2005 11:47 | Yump: Billy Bunter was the creation of Frank Richards and was very much of its time (30's to 50's). There is undoubtedly a rich vein of enthusiasts for the Tubby fellow but I would be unsure if he could be "translated" to the present day without skimming off all the non-PC material and leaving him stranded, a character without much reason to be anything at all. Fatness was his raison d'etre: "Ooo, garoo, get off you chaps!" Let's give this lump of jelly a good kicking!" Would love to see a re-run of just one of those 50's TV episodes and see how frightful it all was - stereotypes galore!! | spurrier
26/5/2005 10:21 | Excellent news, Quick query though, the Chairman states that COR only regained control of the rights to make new F5 programmes last month. Does anyone know (i) whether this was because there were exisisting licences in place which have only just exprired or (ii) whether the rights were controlled by a third party. If so, did COR have to pay to regain control of these rights. Not imporant, but just curious. Bingo | bingobarnes
26/5/2005 09:41 | excellent posts and news, seems as a holder and topper for a decade I think, since trocadero days it seems we could be gaining some traction in the share price and with europe needing to speak english from newborn we could see a massive mkt for english speaking material with substance, looking to top up again myself, excellent all round. dyotr regards active | srpactive
26/5/2005 08:39 | One of the other authors COR has on its books is MARGERY ALLINGHAM. If one takes a look at the Amazon listing for this author you will find 350 entries. If one filters by "publication date, newest first" you will be able to see that Vintage Paperbacks are embarking on a series of reissues of her titles and by the end of this year will have four of them back in print. As a bookseller I had boxes of the old Hogarth Press editions sitting around in the back of my stock room for years. Last November I listed them all through the Amazon Marketplace system and found a very enthusiastic market for them. I have shipped hundreds of copies off in the last 6 months and now have virtually run out. There is still a VERY strong market for MA and I am sure she brings in a tidy sum to add to Christie, Noddy and Blyton and the Mr Men. The other crime author I would love to see COR develop is EDMUND CRISPIN. Ideal TV material. | spurrier
26/5/2005 08:18 | management are firing on all cylinders...and I was one of their harshest critics I have adored the famous Five since my childhood days where I frequently 'lost' myself in their magic world My 2 boys loved the books and so I was able to enjoy them again!! , I have no doubt they will be bought up to date and no doubt will carry mobiles lap-tops etcect but the essence and magic of the stories will be mainatined if COR and the excellent production company it has picked can retain the inherent 'magic' of the stories this will do very well indeed well done and yet more good news from this company certainly encourages me to hold till 2007-2008 and add on any weakness-this years interims should be very interesting !!!! and of course give us the 1st indicators of the initial market reaction to Noddy's release in Asia Japan and most importantly in the USA. Noddy to rule the airwaves FROM a TV station near you WORLDWIDE from 6 weeks time!!! :-) Dave | sweenoid
26/5/2005 08:15 | Spurrier, I often wondered why there had been no apparent attempt to develop such as the 'Famous five'. No we know. I now wonder just how many other former EB titles/characters have some similar constraint on their development. If several, it bodes well 'cuase COR appear absolutley determined to develop all viable properties. Good to see. | gerrystewart
26/5/2005 08:01 | More news this morning: Famous Five animation for 2007. I've been in since way before split and am now seing a healthy profit and I am seriously thinking about topping up. From here to near £5.00 by end of 2006? | spurrier
24/5/2005 08:18 | Ibrox, not suggesting putting in more money though, clearly, both the directors and the institutions are confident enough to do so and all analyses that I have read (e.g. T1ps and EVO - see www.evosecurities.co | gerrystewart
23/5/2005 17:44 | > Gerry not as confident as you to throw in more money. Confident enough not to sell but when I was loooking to use new money elsewhere this opportunity passed me by. Still I would be happy with b/e now. | ibrox
23/5/2005 11:27 | It's been quiet round here - in some ways this is good. Shows how contented we all are with management. I'm very encouraged by the termination of the Copyright Promotions contract. It not only shows that COR think they can do a better job and have the time to run this alongside Noddy, but it will bring considerable savings. Why pay another company 30% commission and expenses etc when you can do it just as well yourself. On a lighter note, we had a pub quiz questions last night - what links Morcambe and Wise and Noddy & Big Ears? We guessed that they slept in the same bed, which was correct, but I seem to recall that Big Ears has his own house (and bed) in Make Way for Noddy. Any avid fan keen to confim! Best Wishes James | bingobarnes
22/5/2005 18:51 | well they ain't having mine ...not yet!!! Noddy in USA Japan and China in less than 2 months pass me the Ginger Beer! regards Dave | sweenoid |
