04/4/2016 10:00 | Corero's SmartWall Threat Defense System (TDS) won a coveted "recommended" rating in the recent NSS Labs DDoS prevention group test, with high performance in all test categories against five major rivals. The company said NSS Labs was known as the world's leading security product testing laboratory. The study showed a strong security rating and lower costs for the Corero product against rival products tested. ------- NSS Labs recommend rating report for Corero is further validation of their DDOS mitigation solutions which is controlled automatically in real time. Now compare that with Arbor Networks (the main market competitor with roughly 70% of the market at present under their belt) who have to employ personnel to continually monitor their clients networks using legacy products, which is somewhat out of date and very expensive for their respective clients. Corero now have a fantastic opportunity to start gaining market share at the expense of their competitors. They (Corero) are starting from a small base but they do appear to be gaining momentum just lately with their contract win announcements. As an investment, I am hopeful that everything is finally falling in place... | affc21

22/3/2016 15:11 | Video interview with Ashley Stephenson Ashley Stephenson, chief executive of Corero Network Security PLC (LON:CNS), says the company is “enjoying growth both in the number of orders and the size of the orders” it is receiving. The AIM-listed cyber security company landed a US$700,000 order – its largest in the fast-growing cloud-hosting sector – with an American customer for its SmartWall Threat Defense System, which wards off denial of service attacks (DDoS) in real time. Stephenson adds that the market for the cyber security market is forecast to grow by double digits in the coming years, and that he sees “no end to the threat of DDoS attacks”. | proactivest
