Corcel don't need them anymore and I guess they are also quite annoyed by their self-righteous announcements of share sales (or not) recently.

Is that a bad thing for Corcel?

I like their quote that their research can't be relied upon anymore!

Perhaps Corcel now don't feel the need to pay them to promote/inflate their assets?

Align no longer on paid retainer as Corcel's promoter and have stated their 'research' can no longer be relied on :(

Apr 2022: ASIPs arrival on the scene looks to be a dream come true, totally changing the dynamic for Corcel’s electricity generation projects as it now has a potentially big funder in its back pocket. We initiated coverage in July 2021 with a Buy stance. While the shares are lower at 1.45p we reiterate our recommendation with 20p target. 

Dec 2022: funding institutions increasingly don’t want any involvement in gas fuelled electricity generation. As such Corcel’s Tring Road 50MW gas peaking project has been disposed of. We reiterate our buy recommendation.

Nov 2023: Align Research is ceasing coverage on Corcel with immediate effect. Please note you should no longer rely on any previous research or targets for this company.

After the damp squib drill took off a third of the market cap and Align dumped a third of their shares (after giving out a 20p target), things are going from bad to worse at AIM battery metals play Corcel plc.

Mark, the reality is the share price has fallen since the 'non-result'. Unsurprising as it went up on smoke and we're in the same position now as pre-drill, 12 historic wells, now a 13th which tells us nothing new. This remains a marginal field with high historic decline rate and if you'll forgive the wibble, conventional wells won't cut it imho.

Onto the next conventional drill then, which will generate income tax via payroll to the Angolan drillers and service providers and maybe some more interest in onshore Angola in the next licensing round, which is what it's all about. There isn't much chance they'll want to reactivate this clapped-out field as it'll give the game away. They need to keep the potential going as long as possible, without showing the actual.

Show me a single occasion that he has lied. Does his SOTP seem like lies to you? Jackanory quite possibly but out and out lies? I refuse to believe that. Just read his "objective" reseach pieces. Just look at the performance of his yearly naps FFS. Is that the work of a sane man? I mean really!

I for one will defend him to the hilt.
