jimmyloser:> Agreed transformational - BUT WHICH WAY? imo currently on a knife edge and could (imo) well fall off. Remember plastics are the bad flavour of the decade.

What a canny move, I like it very much. Whilst it is only my take, I would say that 2021 may well be transformational here. When they report they will hopefully have had a solid quarter and a clearer picture for the outlook.Impo

JG playing games does not sit well with me. Directors recently buying shares, to give an impression that the outlook was more positive. Seems to me like a ploy to give themselves more time to try to resolve some of the problems that should never have occurred if they would not have been so keen to provide dividends, and charge into areas that are fraught with danger several years ago.

No talk of big contracts either or current cash position or anything about the sale and leaseback of Haydock.

Just using COVID as a excuse to delay presenting the facts does not sit well at all JG.

Time JG moved aside.

Latest update says trading in line with last update. Last update said they were confident cashflow from trading should improve as the year progressed. Sounds good to me.

I do not think there is any fear of that valuschmalu, after the recent director buys.
However, they should communicate the dates well in advance rather than just pop them out on a whim.

What happens if results don't come out by end of Oct? Shares get suspended?

More likely that selling due to very stale bulls being bored witless & regretting missing countless better investment opportunities elsewhere & just giving up -capitulation !

Some of the recent selling maybe due to some holders having an account with The Share Centre, and being given the option to move to iii, so rather than switch to a new broker might just be selling and taking the cash, as it`s a quicker way of transferring funds.

All Share Centre holders only have until 30.11.2020 to advise TSC of how they want to action the changes.

So we still have larger sellers but also decent sized buyers -should not be long before we get news that will set the tone for the next 12 months.

Mine are held in CREST in my own name, although I don't have a huge holding.

Interesting trades today, it seem the MM are happy to take on a lot of stock at 5p - previously they would have dropped the price they would pay for quantities of those traded.

Do they have a buying in the wings and a large order to fill?

Correct Aleman, many of those are those that post on here I suspect, like myself, all kept in various nominee accounts, like myself and not even in our own names as many are like JG residing here and there where-ever the sun shines, and even when night is day.🦘

That link shows over 50% in nominee accounts. These are usually broker accounts that hold shares for private investors that trade in uncertificated form. In the absence of any other information, I would assume that suggests a large free float of shares.

base7,

The Link provides the correct numbers;

Several posters here I believe own more shares than some of the directors (myself included) but the number of floating shares is much larger than you suggest. However. many of those floating shares are in bottom draws and ISA accounts etc. I expect. so the true number of readily available shares that are traded must be pretty low, so any good or bad news can have a marked impact on the share price

As we are expecting very good news, following the recent director purchases, I guess we will see a very big upswing before very long.

According to Morningstar about 95% of our issued SC is accounted for by disclosed holdings, leaving under million held by PIs & other employees of CRU (who nee not disclose).unlikely, but if that were to be the case ,the few of us posting occasionally here own most of the rest.Thevpotential for a rapid re rate should therefore be fairly high should we be in a position to announce good news with the potential for some consistency in our future performance

At least Mr Woods has put some of his shares in a place that shows long term commitment placing them in an ISA account.

With customers starting to panic buy and the deal that Ocado did with M&S, that seems to have set off at a magnificent rate, could Ocado be about to place another huge order with CRU for totes. As they talk about building new warehouse distribution centres, and the latest COVID-19 rules must mean extra business for everything like spray tops that CRU supply from China, plus food containers etc.

No wonder the directors have been buying more shares, if this is what they see about to happen.

Looking at todays trades (one looking like a rollover) but other than that it looks like the MM might want stock or there is an order in the pipeline to fill.

MM paying 5.1p it seems with very few having been purchased at 5.43p

Next week should be interesting.

MM looking for stock it seems to me, looking at the last two trades, first looks like a buy, the second like a sell.

If we see any further small buyers, I think that may well be enough to see the share price shoot up.

As srp would say, a few nibble's - maybe it is srp having a nibble early this morning.

base7, your forgetting Woods who also purchased some.

I already have to many that I paid to much for but have held them, as in the past they have had there ups and downs but when JG takes charge they always seems to bounce nicely, and this time, I suspect he will want out at his 15p plus. If I had not been holding so many I would have purchased a lot more yesterday.

Maybe a big order coming from Ocado, or another big contract from another source or those multi use bins might have attracted a big Council order.

If a few of us here have a few 100k in shares we collectively could hold a disclosable stake .My regret is not selling years ago for 15p + a a modest profit .Perhaps more Directors have bought today or delayed buying following yesterday’s RNS -JG & Low wouldnt invest £25k if they expected Admin any time soon

Agreed CT -it will be a long haul but good results & a positive outlook could see us back to 10p

Your welcome srp, I doubt it will take many more buys now before the MM get short of shares to sell, and sellers are bound to dry up I suggest, in view of the strong director buying.

After the results are published you might see one of the funds buying in for longer term growth imo.
