Do you really want to keep adding bits here and there and taking on more and more debt at a time when rates are high and the future is far from certain.

JG can bang the drum as much as he likes, as I guess he has an exit plan and could it in due time lead to another motor type crash once he has moved on - but one where there are few survivors.

Maybe investors should ask if he has any medical issues or how soon does he wish to retire during or before the online meeting, so he may address the question that has been discussed on the thread many times, in the past.

JG referred to the benefits becoming more apparent in H2 so let's see.Wednesdays Investor Meets will be interesting as Cru have never previously involved themselves in charm offensives.Perhaps they have another acquisition in mind but want a higher share price to reduce the number of any share consideration.I would expect lots of bolt on opportunities arising over the coming months

Solid but not blowing the doors off, a hint of increased orders and a lot of debt has been taken on. Deserves a valuation around 20p but we may only see the real value of those acquisitions in 6 - 12 months

As an aside ,interesting that the board ,who hold a not insignificant share of the equity continue to support self financing acquisitions tied to vendor placings.
Must believe share price undervalued and will only seek outside equity at hopefully higher price.

15% return on equity .Wow.if you look at return including depreciation ie real cash return 20%,wow.
Trade Creditors are less than 60 days Wow.
Overall debt if exclude nominal non cash right of use of assets accrual very low.
You need to read accounts properly and not just as reported.
As to dealing with recession ,this board has seen and done it over a good number of years ,as you keep reminding us.

True charo but the accounts show a number of things that raise serious questions about numerous matters including matters concerning the % return on capital, plus trade creditors and debtors for starters, which I am certain you are fully aware of.

All very well while orders hold up but can the business outperform the impeding recession that the government forecast.

Investors in the UK do not like manufacturing companies, so while the results are good there are warning signs imo. So good luck if your going to hold but investment is going to swallow some of the profit, so slowing possible growth of dividend.

I no longer think it is undervalued but good luck but imo it will slide back to 15/16p before long.

Good point Charo & I did buy more at 5p ish & my average is a respectable 10pish.I dont see us being 100p any time soon,if ever-but thats OK as Cru is not that type of blue sky investment ( which usually ends in tears rather than 10 bags)-so i am happy to hold what will continue to be a high yielding stock with potential for some growth if we can demonstrate continued success & ,at some point, my guess is that JG will sell out-although he may have a successor in mind & be happy to keep his 8% or so invested for dividends & growth too.

Solid results,as expected with strong outlook + positive Freehold revaluation ( after just a few months).Cru will never be a major multibagger but may provide decent returns over uncertain times & happy to continue holding in Isa/Sipp

Excellent results IMO. Don't really see how they can be valued at just £15.8m. I get them to be worth more like c.£27m / simdgeon short of 30p. That won't be happening any time soon, so happy to hold.

A vote of confidence buying at 18p plus - you might get back up to 24/25p yet.

Good Luck.

We should honestly pay taxes due, but there is no need to leave a tip.

Not the case at all base7 - I wish you all well and I have said many time that based on the dividend this should be 20p+ but in view of all other aspects going on around the world and the rising interest rates etc. One has to look at the possible downside risk.

JG's age is another major factor and while he has turned the fortunes around, they are still not where they were some years ago.

This has been one of the best investments over many years, through getting on and off the waves of price movements, not in term of steady growth. Remember there must still be numbers of investors that paid more than 20p a shares, and how many more shares are there now?

Your ideas about CVA's are not mine - forms of manipulation are not practices that should be considered desirable imo.
