True chaps, no other small cap on AIM can match the grades and scale of CORA's very shallow assets. I guess its moving up as there's lots more assays to come from the extended drilling and that will be followed up by the reserve update. So news flow a plenty over the next few months.

Ed.

Not sure those grades need ramping at those depths as others have said. Slowly and surely she goes....

OMI I'm in and will see wild swings as IMO it is tightly held....but that has massive potential as well.....

DYOR on all!
Cheers

tidy 2 - Yes, you do like to ramp. Your share OMI ; your ramp to 28p a few days ago, and today ? 17.75p. Stick to your own board, there's a good fellow.

Cora Gold Limited ('Cora' or 'the Company')

First Zone B results start with strong grades and widths of oxide mineralisation

Cora Gold Limited, the West African focused gold company, is pleased to announce the eighth set of drill results from its largest ever drilling campaign at its Sanankoro Gold Project ('Sanankoro' or 'the Project') in Southern Mali. The Company is focussed on targeting resource growth as well as infill drilling to convert existing Inferred resources to Indicated. The results to date have been extremely encouraging with good widths and high-grade results in generally shallow oxide ore.

HIGHLIGHTS

-- 8m @ 19.11 g/t Au from 90m in hole SC0459 at B1
-- 32m @ 4.43 g/t Au from 29m in hole SC0453 on the northernmost tested section at B3
-- 28m @ 2.85 g/t Au from 32m in hole SC0443 at B3
-- 13m @ 3.03 g/t Au from 77m in hole SC0462 at B1
-- 25m @ 1.35 g/t Au from 65m in hole SC0436 at B3 down-dip of SC0453
Results at Zone B represent a Phase 1 ('P1') programme targeting the mineralisation along the previously defined 1.75km strike length of the deposit. These results demonstrate that there is further mineralisation beyond the existing pit boundaries both at depth and along strike in both directions and offers further encouragement as the Company targets a resource update later in the year.

Bert Monro, CEO of Cora, commented, "Zone B is delivering a series of very encouraging drill intercepts with good widths and grades of oxide mineralisation coming through in the assays. 8m @ 19.11 g/t Au and 32m @ 4.43 g/t Au in oxides are really impressive drill results and the exploration team on site are very excited to be following up on them in Phase 2 of this drill campaign at Zone B.

"We have now drilled over 27,000m in this programme and are now expecting to drill in excess of the originally planned 35,000m as we follow up some of the excellent results we have been receiving. We currently have two reverse circulation ('RC') rigs and a diamond rig at site drilling out the final metres of this campaign."

Regardless of the current market conditions and the low cap here, I'd still prefer if they kept announcing great drilling results regardless. More assays to come too between now and the reserve upgrade. They more than deserve to establish a share price uptrend with these results as they'll lead to the updated JORC and then DFS/funding decision. Given the drill results to date and the likely significant reserve upgrade I'd say the funding from the largest shareholder is looking good at present. All of these holes/intercepts are above 150m, lots of shallow resource here and stunning grades for weathered oxides.

Ed.

Great grades and widths yet again, I love the consistency these guys get from their drill results and assays. Extending the drill programme too due to the great results, might as well keep the three rigs there when the going is good. On and on it goes, where it stops nobody knows. :)

Ed.

very hard to get bottom I sold 2/5th of my position in the 13p range bought my 100k back today, really happy getting them back under 10p with a 3k profit if it drops further will add more, cora will be nearer 20p by the end of the year, they will want the price higher to raise capital later this year just sit on your hands or add more if you've spare cash.

Did see that Cora was running 'sponsored posts' on Twitter around the same time as their super RNS.

I don't know if that is a worrying sign or not...

Looks like my gut was right. 90k sold yesterday at 13.2p and just re-bought at 11.98p. £1086 freed up compared to just sitting tight while the MMs (on behalf of funds as corrientes muses above?) play it like a fiddle.

The more I study the share price movement at announcement times, the more convinced I become, that manipulation is key, obviously done in order to assist large would be holders, such as fund managers, taking a position without causing a rocket in the share price. This is the only conclusion I can come to when the facts are staring us in the face..

Listened in on the webcast today, and compared with the other three CEO's who mostly waffled, Bert's contribution, was to actually talk about the project virtually all the time, which is what we want to hear about. Peer comparisons with other Mali miners/producers concerning their resources, was quite illuminating, in a good way. Also the fact that the area on the Mali/Senegal border is regarded as the creme de la creme, in maybe in the whole of Africa, was quite a revelation, and they haven't even drilled there yet, but whilst holding some of the most lucrative concessions.

As several have said, subject to an unknown catastrophe, don't be concerned about seemingly peculiar day to day share price movements. That's usually to do with the parallel world of moving funds in financial centres, and not at all to do with the company's particular prospects.
