The French and others will never let that happen.

Unless it spills out into a conflict, then nobody can get any business done, assets get expropriated and capital flight occurs.

The controlling military might indirectly eventually make things better given the present endemic corruption and inefficiency under the ousted ruler. I always look for the tribal element when these things happen in Africa.

Very much worth watching as the gold price drops! Frank Holmes talks about the (good) reasons for gold price volatility now, and why we have to live with it.

Phoe,

Someone has bought them from Hummingbird for £118k. So it looks like they will exercise them at some point in the future to make a profit. It shows that the have value even though they're just in the money right now. Great to see gold move above $2000/oz again.

Ed.

Can anyone translate today's RNS? I don't quite understand regarding the warrants. Are they still in play or have they been exercised or cancelled? Thanks

I think there should be a very large warrant conversion coming up from Turner Pope's clients !!

Hicker,

Yes it looks like they're now also making good progress with the ESIA as well as all these shallow gold discoveries. Has the feel of fast track to production now that gold is over $2000/oz. That's an essential step before the ML is granted, its good to see these guys mean business.

Regards,
Ed.

Here is the latest information for you:

Its early days yet, even though preliminary funding for development is on offer if they meet their criteria. But ontop of this they have the two new recent discoveries open after at least 1.5km strike each. They have significant backers. Not ready for production just yet but economics of the current discoveries improve with the raging gold price. Give them another year or so of infill drilling and they should have the DFS out and be preparing for development. So lots of discoveries lots of shallow good grades and a modest cap.

Regards,
Ed.

I was very surprised, and pleased, yesterday, when I was able to purchase yet another tranche at a price that appeared to be at the bid. I checked again later to be sure, but it was indeed correct. Sometimes you can benefit from what appears to be a temporary technical issue, maybe waiting on a large seller, or warrant liquidations, but it's a bit early for that. Whatever, I'm not complaining.

They were certainly very well supported at 12p. Looks like TP will be raising money by converting all the warrants. It doesn't look like there will be a chance to buy more much cheaper unless GOLD has a short-term setback !!
