Hotcopper is still in stunned silence mode with a cagey Kiwi keeping silent.

Do you expect that some of their Aussie posters might come in here and take a look?

ok, broker cut target price of COOL, so, only around double from here (ie target share price around 4p). not much uplift i can see until thermal coal price bouncing up

BHR will have better prospect in the short term as their share price target is around 7p (some brokers around 15p) and coking coal price is boucing and moving north now.

someone postes in III that BOD confirmed JORC already signed, so expect RNS this week imho

ps Queenwood sums it up..you need to stay for the long run on this one. A mistake I made was to expect it to come good by T20! Not a good idea to borrow to invest, MMs wise to this!

Sorry Useless! One doesn't know who to believe on these BBs, but there is a huge amount of manipulation in the AIM shares I have watched over the last few years.

Yes, it probably is partly volume that impacts on COOLs SP, but it is also profile- it doesn't have a big enough one in the UK; nor is its strategic investor, VMR! Also the spread which is another issue- because it doesn't attract Stamp Duty (and therefore should be cheap to deal), the MMs exaggerate the spread IMO. They really don't want to trade in this share (I wonder why?) and so they put PIs off!

Hopefully, profile and volume will both be addressed by listing on the SA exchange. As for debt, as I said earlier, Chair and FD need to sort this and fast.

Revenues from Penumbra will help with debt.

I wish you well Useless, we are all still learning and it's costly- u need faith!

Not if a company has to keep diluting to raise funds. I would agree with the premise if a company can grow by reinvesting profit.

Useless - you are very honest.

Just one comment on your first paragraph. There is one situation where you may want to share your knowledge about negative bits about of a company with the public without having a direct financial position (no longs, no short). This comes from desire for altruism and/or intellectual honesty. Bigbill is a classic example of the altruist/intellectual where he got involved with the story of Cool at some point in the past, could see negative things about the company/management with greater clarity than others, and thought he should warn people at suitable time points. Extremely honest and welfare enhancing activity.

But an altruist/intellectual honesty person will draw a line when the management changes (his original complaints) are already occurring and give the small firm a second chance. An altruist/intellectual would also typically not go beyond commonly available public data to draw his case. He wouldn't dig into difficult to get privileged information to talk about new negative things once the management changes are already occurring.

This is why Kiwi is not an altruist/intellectual honesty seeker. His data source is much more privileged and he goes to unusual lengths. He does not stop his attacks even when the management changes are occurring. He has to have a financial interest, and since he is neither short or long, logically his interest must be in lowering VWAP.

The Aussies who have been hurt by Kiwi's activities need to organize themselves to get redress. I have raised a red flag on hotcopper just indicating to people to be careful about Kiwi. Hotcopper has become such an over-moderated forum (at least on Cool) that anything beyond the trend talks risk being shot down by the moderators.
I wish the Aussies luck in organizing against Kiwi. They need some leadership. I hope Bigbillbrown or somebody else provides this.

Ceepee1, I am a simpleton in comparison to kiwi. It is clearly evident that kiwi knows his stuff about mining and he has a lot of knowledge about cool. He says he doesn't have a financial interest in cool but I don't believe it. I started investing in October 2012 and since then I've made a lot of mistakes. I am trying to learn from my mistakes and that is why I want to see how this turns out. What I have learnt is that there is no point holding shares in a small cap unless you can buy them very cheap to begin with before they spike. If you buy shares when there is high volume then you had better have a plan to sell them promptly at a profit because time and time again, the share price falls on low volume. Take COOL WRES BAO REM as examples. All of them rose on high volume and then gradually retraced.

No Ceepee - absolutely not. He feels hurt with Cool's performance - quite justifiably. He thinks charting is important - so many others do and many of them justifiably. Differences of opinions is a good thing - it enriches the debate and makes people do more critical thinking once their views are challenged.

Useless - my problem is personal. I am basically a fundamentals guy. Charting quite often conflicts with fundamental views for some lengths of time and over the years , I have realized that I find it difficult to coexist in both. So, I have given up on my charting prowess (which anyway was weak) because it confuses me - anyway there are so many others who do it so much better than me - use their understanding from time to time.

After this I don't discuss on charting or short term price movements because, as I said, I cannot add anything meaningful here.

Charts aren't that difficult mate but there are people out there who are make them more complicated than they need to be. On a small cap cool, comparison of price with volume is vital. When volume decreases so does the share price Same is happening with REM. The smart money is waiting for the price to retrace to about 0.3p. Queenwood, I think you meant to say "loser."

try and keep my contribution limited on charts.

Charts are very important especially when compared to volume. Cool is in a long term down trend. Ignore that at your peril. Imo the trend wont change until cool is consistently reporting profit and has the cash in the bank to show for it. Imo they are years away from that. If the share price isnt going up then it is going down. ChartDebtCash

I never have much clues on day to day pricing of Cool. I am not a chartist. Rest I agree - but it will be a hard ride from here. I expect Penumbra to become fully operational soon.
