Doesn't add up does it? Any security moving towards being cash generative, always appreciates in value, as investors climb on board.Some savvy institutional investors too. But in this case, zilch.I've seen it all before, particularly with mining operations, and particularly in Africa or Asia.

Do they need to RNS an offtake agreement?
From their finals back in Nov they had A to Z for 10Ktonnes/month already..

-- Commencement of initial mining at the Lubu Project at the end of Q1 2022, with further development at site post-period.

-- Focus remains on an initial 10,000 tonnes per month of production before further ramp up to 300,000 tonnes per annum during 2023

-- Secured a first offtake partner, AtoZ Investments (Pty) Ltd, for 10,000 tonnes of washed coal per month post period. Additional coking coal offtake discussions underway.



Which they appear to have confirmed in their 24th May update...

The Company will continue to undertake studies on washed coal production to ensure optimisation. Samples will also be sent to several parties who have indicated they would look to enter into long-term offtake contracts. This includes the Company's potential Strategic Partner under a Memorandum of Understanding and complements Contango's existing offtake for 10,000t a month of washed coal. All coking coal produced, including coal dispatched as samples, will be sold at factory gate, with the current MMCZ price still set at US$120 per tonne. The Company expects to announce the first sales of washed coking coal in June 2023.


ie.."complements Contango's existing offtake for 10,000t a month of washed coal." which should be A to Z investments should it not?
