Thanks craffert and KevJones2 for your posts I remember that rns saying they were close to the source and then we've heard nothing at all since .
I presume either they were not close to the source of the diamonds or there weren't any diamonds at all .it wouldn't take 2 to 3 years to confirm that would it if they were on the source ?

Stevehoops is a top man. KJ2 who is a bit of a stalker and consumed by bitterness. He blames everyone but himself for investing his money in CGNR. Stevehoops! you better hope he doesn't stick a few pound on the horses with paddy power and loose.......you might get the blame for that! CatsWhiskas - let me help with just a small example:

9th Dec 2013 KDR AGM statement: Prof Conroy quote: “During the last 18 months the Company has made a number of positive discoveries in Finland that lead us to believe that there is a very strong possibility of successfully achieving our aim of discovering a major diamondiferous pipe."

The excitement builds as Prof Conroy strongly hints at close proximity to a find. The share price explodes to 4.4p. More comments from the Prof:

"Orange mantle garnets can include
eclogitic pyrope-almandine garnets (G3)
and if eclogite mantle materials are
present it is significant, as it tends to be
associated with richer diamond grades.
The garnets will be tested
to establish whether eclogite mantle
materials are present. In the Kuhmo
region of Finland, high numbers of
kimberlitic indicator minerals are typically
only seen either directly over or within a
hundred metres of a kimberlite source"


11th Dec 2013 raise £700,000 at 1.5p (to "accelerate programmes")

7th Jan 2014 raise £750,000 at 2.0p (due to "exceptional demand" from retail client investors

14th Jan 2014 raise £550,000 at 2.0p (due to further demand")

2nd May 2014 raise another £725,000 at 2.25p (shure why not)

So in FY 2014 KDR raise €3.025mn of fresh money but the all important cash flow statement shows that €344k of that investment is used to "repay shareholder loans." And Prof Conroy fees and salaries for 2014 were €85k (how many days a week does he do for that?)

Roll on FY 2015. No new cash raised. No whopping diamond discovery, but now the cash on balance sheet has dwindled to €474k

Roll on 2017: Share price 0.5p / market cap £3mn

All those wonderful placings at 2p in 2013/14 when the share price was c. 4p was a puff of smoke, but at least the cash was wisely used by the company to reduce the Prof's personal exposure to any risk of the exploration not working out. Now assess that "strong possibility" prediction in light of lifting €344k off the table.

Find me anyone who has ever invested in CGNR or KDR in a placing who has seen an increase in their investment.


Closer to home:

The way the Prof is now using Article 85 of the companies constitution is technically correct in a legal sense, but it signals such public contempt for shareholders interest and self preservation at any cost that it represents nothing more than a pyrrhic victory which will be temporary.

The gravy train is rapidly coming to its final station.

Hi KevJones2 I would welcome your post on KDR explaining how conroy ruined cgnr and how hes sucking us into KDR as I'm beginning to wonder if anything is going to happen there please post it here if you're more comfortable with that.
