New interview, the recently appointed CEO is a breath of fresh air and concise, has good connections in the financial world, looking for either a JV partner (seems they are in discussions) or financial partners at project level to start a mine.
With the share price in the gutter he also suggests raising cash via equity is not the way forward. |
Sorry, where are those two JV offers today? Like everything else it's all best intentions, spin and over-optimism |
If I'd asked you back in 2019 if they would get 2 JV offers you would have laughed. Some people want it to fail. |
In this 1998 article (when, as a multi-millionaire, he was still looking for funding) he "sincerely" predicted the mine will open in 2002.
A Google search of Conroy Irish Independent will highlight false predictions upon false predictions each followed by placing upon placing, as the share price inexorably drops and drops and drops. |
My post of 10/10/2024 said I invested in 2023. Of course that should have said 2013.
BTW, nothing, absolutely nothing will change here just because the Prof is gone. CGNR, from a high of £11.11p to the current low of 4.75p (÷ 200 for the 200 to 1 share scamsolidation), continues to be the worst performing share in stock market history that I can find, and that is still in business.
For the record, the 200 to 1 share consolidation is the only one I can remember. If you divide todays share price by 200 you'll get the real share price 4.75 ÷ 200 = 0.0238l75. CGNR has gone from a high of 1111p to 0.02375p. If you think it can't go any lower, think again.
Below is an article from the Irish Independent in 2002 in which that day's share price for Conroy was £9.75p but there is another article from 2000 which stated £11.11p. I'm trying to find it as people think I'm making this up. Also, I'm not sure but that other dog , Karelian, may have been part of Conroy when it was 11.11p. |
The gist of the reply was that people who believe these ridiculous claims find it difficult to cope with a chaotic world and so seek a simple theory that explains all that is wrong and this gives them some comfort that they can exercise an element of control which otherwise they feel they don't have. They're scared of being unable to cope with the world and seek an alternative story, in short. We all have our issues I suppose. |
I'd ask who are this cabal but I won't waste my time talking to a fruitcake so please don't bother to reply There was a very interesting personal problem letter in the Observer this weekend. Phillipa Perry's response was very wise as usual. It was about a friend who's been captured by conspiracy theories and whether to bother continuing with the friendship with |

Lol,
You do not seem to know what is truly going on in the World !
Harris is a clone of Starmer-owned/bought and paid for / controlled by the same Cabal of Psychopaths. Maybe they are both Victims of MK-Ultra,or just incredibly Stupid people, awaiting their Orders.
UK and US will go down together in Economic Armageddon (unless of course Trump can beat the 2nd election theft.)
Now ask yourself that whilst current US President- Joe Biden -suffers advanced Dementia,
" Who is actually in control of running the US,its War Machine and its economic Destruction !?
wakey wakey
IMHO |
Ha ha To be fair - that at least is within the bounds of reality :) lol |
He believes Conroy might lead to a juicy gold mine in Ireland. Which is more crazy? :D |
Cabal owned Harris. ?! Good grief. Do you believe in alien lizards too? |
Are this lot any closer to a new JV deal that is the question, if so then the shares would fly higher. |
We all have our own opinions.
Obviously nobody has any Spread bet shorts on this,as the fear that at any point in time - of Positively defining news-the stock could open up at multiples-destroying any shorts.
Meanwhile I boringly state that Conroy has proven Gold and a potential mine in the readiness of making - a reality.
No-one knows what is coming in the USA,with another potentially stolen election that could put the Cabal owned utterly destructive Harris in power. That would be the designed end of any possible US economic recovery-and potential War that Harris would be "told" to back.
The Fed is currently merely papering over up a Huge Big Bank Crisis, which will no doubt release mayhem at some point after the elections.
Gold`s path will be volatile - yet at some point will rise, far beyond $3000 per oz bringing on "Gold anything" demand.
It is inevitable - just timing !!!

Lifestyle company? Why did Demir spend all that money? Tricked all their geologists did he? Why have other companies expressed an interest? Maybe he tricked them too? LOL |
Obviously sad to see that the professor has passed away, I spoke to him at various times over the years, and he was always friendly and pleasant.
This is the opitome of an AIM listed lifestyle compnay in my opinion, possible the best example, apart from Thor of course, and AYM, UKOG, NTOG, VAST, etc. etc.
Management have been well rewarded for producing no shareholder value, shareholders have funded their lifestyle.
The only mystery for me is why did investors fund this and the others I mentioned for so long? |
The £250k will go to the Professors estate in funeral expenses, death in service payment and unpaid salary, I think I read in the annual report the company allegedly owed him money too? Perhaps in lieu of fees or salary? |
The shares won't be suspended by Christmas they raised £250K a couple of weeks ago which is plenty of cash to keep the lights on well into next year . |
There are only two short term outcomes here now: Either a massive diluted placing to raise enough runway cash to buy time for another JV partner and to hire a credible CEO, OR the shares get suspended before Christmas. |
Repent The End is very Nigh |
lets see if bs will continue |
Ten years ago he WAS ten years younger, and yet today the company has exactly the same gold resource as in 2014.
What HAS changed is that the directors and staff have been paid approaching £10 million in shareholder's funds in the interim. |
RIP CGNR target 0p |
Anyone who thinks the nutty professor was working in the best interests of shareholders should read the posts from this man who trusted the con man. |
richgit16 Oct '24 - 11:23 - 11822 of 11824 “Let us not forget that Professor Richard Conroy had great success in His Business life.”
Jimmy Savile and Gary Glitter had great success in their business lives, it didn’t make them decent honest people
Success? Are you joking? He was a professional con man. I remember watching a video where he allegedly found a lucrative pink diamond mine next to a bus stop in Denmark lol
He was extremely successful at funding his and his family’s lifestyle from investors cash. How much money did he return to shareholders in his lifetime? And how much money did he make from shareholders?
Everyone dies, wake up and get real, one day you and I will be dead too, it’s the cycle of life ffs 🤷a94;️ |
