The reality is - to get rich with Conroy will require some definingly positive news.
The bad news for the naysayers is, Conroy is hardly going to totally vanish over the coming years as Gold soars.
We are certainly still in a Market whereby Gold/Silver related stocks are not reacting as they should, albeit some signs of life are appearing.
We will get to the Days when some Majors have doubled and some Small stocks multiplied x 10 which could be just the beginning as all the clones of Keir Starmer do more and more Damage.
Not budging from my stake in Conroy albeit if they do not give us definingly positive news in the $3000 Gold ( Onwards) period, when arguably Gold anything should be in demand- then I may move on.

Been a great way for LTH's, Enter, to lose money recently. |
Can't believe the Prof is still getting away with this.
When I bought in 2013 the share price, according to the resident rampers, was at absolute rock bottom. It had gone from £11.11p all the way down to 2.2p. I bought in despite my wariness about the prof's political past. Since then there's been at least 1 "share consolidation" of 200 to 1. My shares will just about buy me a pint. Biggest scam on AIM by some distancem |
Man the lifeboats Mr Lightoller !! |

"We know how to mine our gold and I don't understand why we're going to let multinationals come and mine it." |

A new JV to replace the old JV's that turned out to be transformational until the JV got a look at the actual potential and realised they were wasting their time? I will apologize the day Conroy viably smelts and sells just one ounce of Irish gold. |
They are working on a new JV. Will all the idiots apologize when they are proved wrong? I doubt it. |
AAZ looked at it - didn't want it. Demir drilled it - didn't want it. Can't close a placing - investors don't want it. Directors won't fund it - they don't even want it. That it's still above £3m is remarkable. |
craftyspeculator, "classic line", except they don't even have a hole in the ground to stand next to!
Old Man Conroy is a rare near mythical beast. He must hold the global record for milking a spec for decades! |
Seems overpriced. |

Deals are happening between miners with ACTUAL PRODUCING GOLD MINES....ironically Greatland were in a bind, with their major partner Newmont DIVESTING certain gold assets after their own acquisition of Newcrest last year. So basically Greatland's 70% partner didn't want the non producing Havieron asset strategically so they sold it off to Greatland, and included Telfer (producing gold mine.) So Greatland has a massive re-set after existing shareholders got slaughtered, but is now a real gold miner with a long life producing asset with 3m o/z of resources (Telfer) and infrastructure to reduce the developement and opex cost of bringing Havieron into production. It's now an interesting gold play. Conroy isn't even on the radar of the sort of companies and deals your reference. You continue to be deluded. CGNR is the Mark Twain classic line. |
Deals in the majors are starting to happen.Minors are laggards in nature, although Greatland has just put a major deal together. Now it's a matter of when, not If unless there is a total collapse in the gold price, which could happen but looks unlikely On London's equity markets, gold miner Centamin surged 23.85% following news that it would be acquired by AngloGold Ashanti in a £1.9bn deal. |
If they can sign a JV with gold around $1700/oz then they can sign one with gold over $2500/oz |
Huge upside when announcement on JV comes. I think we'll hear something this month |

3.4million? So what's new? |
18th March 2022Paul Johnson interviewhttps://podcasts.apple.com/gb/podcast/midweek-takeaway-spotlight-on-conroy-gold-aim-cgnr/id1593750832?i=1000554460380So what's the hold up, if the mk cap was then 10 -12 million, today it's around? |
Conroy was discussed in detail on the Roast podcast over the weekend, they had Paul Johnson on, who remains a shareholder here.
Whilst he expressed his frustrations on painfully slow progress he reckons at current levels the shares are a no brainer buy based on a sector rally where all boats will rise.
He also suggested CGNR shares could sky rocket if a meaningful JV partner is announced, 50p+ was possible. |
Don't think anyone walked, different of opinion on how to proceed, turns wanted to keep exploring, old conroy wanted to start digging, the choice Mine or exploring? |
This Turkey has got to be out of cash by now Prof must be paying the bills on his American Express card .Expecting a very low ball placing this month around 4.5P after Demir walked confirming it's a dud . |
