Does the previous poster know how much the salaries, fees and pension contributions for Conroy and Co amount to for a given year??? Might help to look at the annual report before "spreading wisdom" like that.....😎

There could certainly be some Entrepeneurs out there that would prefer
the risks of a Potential Multi-Million Ounces + 20 year History with Conroy
than the risks of Ebola.Sars.Plagues of Locus,Famine etc etc + Politicals Risks - in many parts of Africa.....

I daresay by Next Year many will be number crunching their future resources
as Gold will at some point have a multi-year run as the trust in all Major
Currencies may waver - as now the Printing Presses are into Infinty and beyond
......... as more question their worth/worthiness !!!!

Arguably- Only a matter of time, so time is now at least in Conroy`s Favour as they have some cash in the Kitty.

Extremely positive, can you find someone to give you 300k for what the trolls call empty promises? No, this is more about people in the know getting in at an early stage prior to the big news plus warrants at 16p. Why allocate warrants at 16p if they didn't believe they would reach that value? When the big story arrives, it will be too late to join the party but those of a nervous disposition should look after themselves and do what they feel is right for them. The northern triangle of CGNR, GAL and DAL is tightening

One will read that the Minister of Mines came to the last PDAC and visited CGNR*s booth. The RNS stated what the Minister of Mines said about mining.

Alastair Ford, Mining Analyst spoke to Professor Conroy and was interviewed by Proactive Investors UK on 4.10.19 re:CGNR

From the interview:
A.Ford said that "the Maiden Resource is 1/2 Moz gold. Tip of the ICEBERG - 8 MILLION ounces of gold. Raised eyebrows. CANADIAN interest - strong- optimistic of a JV. Interest is RIGHTS TO AN ENTIRE TREND. CANADIAN MAJOR - share up to 10 MILLION ounces of gold- attractive, OPPORTUNITY 2nd to NONE. Next couple of months. BIG DEAL- see what happens."

"SP GLOBAL Feature: UK set for mining revival post-brexit if overseas investments flow: developers" 1.2.20

It mentioned:
Cornish Lithium, Anglo-American & Sirius Minerals, Drakelands tin project {former Wolf Mining in admin}, Strategic Minerals tin & tungsten [Devon], Strongbow*s South Crofty,
West Cumbria Mining [coking coal in Whitehaven with Canadian Osisko taking $1m in $2m raise]."

"TSX-listed DALRADIAN Resources Curraghinalt GOLD project..purchased by Orion Mine Finance for around $600 Million in late 2018."

"However, MUCH OF THE FUNDING is coming from abroad, notably CANADA and not from the UK. In terms of LICENSING, the UK govt has NOT hindered any new mining project. New mining opportunities may however be in HIGHER-VALUE PRODUCTS like GOLD and new energy metals including lithium & tin."

"The govt approved the Woodhouse Colliery despite some local protests. Scotsgold & Sirius Minerals which is sited in a national park have faced only a "minor" level of environmental opposition."

"The UK govt is very SUPPORTIVE of the development of new mines, Strongbow said." [After receiving a water discharge permit.]

A/c to Brandon Hill, Dalradian {6moz gold] took some 30 yrs & CGNR 16 {potential 10moz per last Proactive Investor*s video dated 4.10.19.

CGNR - Independent on Sunday, Ireland & Irish Times published the story about "at least" HALF A DOZEN international mining co*s are in discussions with CGNR dated Sun, 8 Feb 2020. From previous interviews, I recalled Prof. Conroy also mentioning that his Irish mine was developed by Canadians and implied there is also Canadian interest in CGNR.
------
From Brandon Hill on CGNR, I recall they said that Dalradian was developed with $320 million. The Indy said article as above said that CGNR has spent Euro 19 million. On Fri, 14 Feb 2020, CGNR closed at around 14p, Mkt Cap £3.43 million.

If you followed the story for a long time, then one would note the gold price then and now. The mining cost was X then. All explained by Professor Conroy. History now as the end game is near? The gold price is now attractive and no wonder majors are now looking at large projects and they are interested in CGNR.

Quote:
"Potential partners are really interested in is the WHOLE DISTRICT. Co has a whole GOLD TREND TO ITSELF ie 40 miles."
From: "Majors & mid-tier miners are showing increasing interest in Conroy Gold."-Proactive Investors, Oct 2019 by Alastair Ford.

This has now come to pass ie Sunday Independent Ireland 9 Feb 2020 article: "Majors weighing up Conroy Gold." Also in Irish Times, 9 Feb 2020.

My last post stated that "GEOLOGISTS & SENIOR EXECUTIVES of SIX separate co*s have visited Conroy*s MAIN Contribet site in recent mths."
[Refers to "at least 6" international mining co*s are in discussions with CGNR.] - From Sunday Independent, 9 Feb 2020.

I think we are ALL going to leave it to the MAJOR*S GEOLOGISTS & SENIOR EXECUTIVES who are more nuanced in mining.

CONTRIBET, County Monaghan, Ireland.

"A LARGE O P E N PIT Gypsum mine is CURRENTLY in operation in Country Monaghan."

"The County has a history of mining including historic lead mines and an Antimony mine in what was known as the Armagh-Monaghan MINING DISTRICT."

"The subsequent exploration programme led to the DISCOVERY of over 1 MILLION ozs of gold on 20% of the Contribet target together with a 30 MILE GOLD TREND containing a series of of major gold targets which conceptual studies by the co estimate a POTENTIAL OF 15-20+ OUNCES OF GOLD WITHIN THE GOLD TREND covered by the co*s licences *."

Link: hxxps://www.conroygoldandnaturalresources.com/projects/mining-ireland
"Mining in Ireland"- Conroy website on their discovery ie Contribet.
-----
Comment: So, it is a "mining district" and no restriction on open-pit otherwise they would have to CLOSE down the LARGE gypsum mine that is currently in operation.

So, the 15-20+ ounces of gold potential [also in a BBC article] would potentially be Tier 1 territory and major*s territory. Hence, not surprising that both Independent on Sunday Ireland and Irish Times both reported on Sun, 9 Feb 2020 that "at least 6" international mining co*s are in discussion with CGNR. The Independent spoke to Professor Conroy and he was quoted in the article.

All solved now. 6 international mining co*s must know what they are doing?

Kindly check. Also see detailed * from the Conroy link.

From the Independent on Sunday, Ireland, 9 Feb 2020:
"Efforts to bring on a MAJOR INTERNATIONAL MINING player have "moved a long way" with VISITS from GEOLOGISTS & SENIOR EXECUTIVES of SIX SEPARATE CO*S in recent months to CONROY*S MAIN CONTRIBET SITE."

"We have something that could be very big in international terms, but ONE of the BIG MAJORS could put a LONGER TIMELINE on it than a smaller co might...IT IS TIME now for us to have these discussions & we*d LIKE TO MOVE ON WITH IT."

From the latest Nov 2019 Connemara Mining Presentation [now named Arkle Resources]:

"Exploring Ireland*s rich g o l d & zinc potential."

"Irish focus- world class jurisdiction "Open for Business."
"Low sovereign risk in an established mining jurisdiction."
"Ranked 4th globally on Policy Perception Index."
"2nd in Europe for investments."
"Established modern mining industry [Navan, Lisheen & Galmoy]
"Majors Boliden, Glencore & Teck actively exploring."
["Taken from 2018 Mining Survey Fraser Institute of Canada."

----
Professor Conroy*s [CGNR Chairman] mine is listed above which he has mentioned before.

---
"SIGNIFICANT OVERSEAS INTEREST IN IRISH MINING PROJECTS."-28.3.18, Irish Times
From Connemara quoted by Irish Times: "We believe Ireland will emerge as a GOLD PRODUCING PROVINCE and expect to see a lot of activity in terms of gold production."

----
Comment:
So, this is from another UK listed co ie Connemara, now Arkle Resources, in gold and zinc.
I also quoted from an article that is a few days old [Feb 2020] that said that Ireland & Scotland is receiving a lot of interest in gold mining.

So, no where has it been said that Ireland is not open for gold mining.

Some important points:
1)Dalradian is the gold mine that is being meant which is in an area of Outstanding Beauty. One knows that any area of outstanding beauty within the UK may have to go through the process.

2)Dalradian dropped their plans for using cy anide. Ref:"Dalradian: Tyrone mine to drop cyan ide plan."-BBC, 14 Aug 2019. I read in the articles that Dalradian was planning to ship the ore.

3)I am aware that Dalradian is a underground mine. The moot point was about using cyan ide at a area of outstanding beauty.

---
I have not read anywhere that Ireland is not open for business relating to mining.
The last CGNR presentation was for the Open for Ireland event.

One would think that "at least 6" international mining co*s would know if it is otherwise.

This was never brought up by CGNR nor Professor Conroy. One of the big holders is the Chairman of Old Mutual and the other is a prominent businessman in Ireland.

Barrick Gold*s CEO at Indaba has said that even if all the mines came to production, gold prod would still decline given it is peak gold. So, the only places now would be Africa.

In the Oct 2019, Proactive Investors article [on Twitter #cgnr thread] it was said that these majors and mid-tier are interested in the gold trend [40 miles] that Conroy Gold had.

No wonder as it may be considered a better jurisdiction in terms of mining.

---
That risk factor is being brought up only on ADVFN as an interpretation of risk that has not been highlighted even in the broker note available to see on CGNR*s website nor by the co.

So...that*s perspective. No other co has brought up this aspect or that Ireland is not open for business re: mining??

You are missing the very important point: Dalradian and Sirius are BOTH UNDERGROUND, and nobody minds 2g/t gold in anything other than an open pit, and a big one at that. Assuming the 8Moz were true, any major partner would scale that at around 0.4Moz per year (20-25 year life) which means 6Mty or around 3Mm3 plus around double that in waste, which needs mining, crushing and disposing of every year for 20+years. Dalradian don't have that problem because at a far higher 15g/t they produce far less ore, and then they store their tailings back underground, and Sirius ship their ore off-site and sell it as their product. If you want to know what that looks like go to: hxxps://images.app.goo.gl/2AkbLivUyDFuyaF66

[On Twitter, #cgnr thread] Link given to CGNR 8.8moz Exploration target to a depth of 200m and excluding resource area. Resource area 517,000 ozs Au @ 2g/t AU."
----

From the Independent on Sunday, Ireland re:CGNR, it was said that the co has spent Euro 19 million on the project [£ 1 6 million]. At 16p, mkt cap £3.7 million.

The above article also said that the CGNR gold trend is 6 5 km.

For perspective, GGP*s mkt cap today is £ 2 0 3 million at 5.65p with 25% of the Havieron project. Mining Maven wrote an article that there could be 7m+ moz gold at Havieron. The Havieron anomaly is 1,000metres x 1,000 metres and not in kilometres. Numis said that Havieron*s is at 2g/t in their 2019 report.

Kindly check. Tues 11 Feb 2020.

Dalradian:
Their proposed mine is in an area of outstanding beauty.

LATEST: Derry Now, 8 Feb 2020 hxxps://www.derrynow.com/news/news/514246/reported-30-000-objections-to-mining-in-sperrins.html

The article mentioned: The High Court dismissed judicial review in Feb 2019 & another set-back in June.In Aug 2019, the co said it would not use cy nide for processing.
Dalradian "has received over 4,000 letters of support. This is an unprecedented number for any mining planning project in Northern Ireland."

---
There is no objection by Sein Fein in any of the articles including the latest dated 8 Feb 2020. It goes through planning applications and due process ie High Court.

CGNR are not located in an area of outstanding beauty and designated so? Sirius Minerals had to go through the same process since it was also in an area of outstanding beauty in the UK.

What`s happening in our Crazy World at the moment is almost Biblical.

...and then there is the US Fed Printing Money in Biblical proportions along with the World`s stock Plunge teams trying to keep Markets up and pretend everything is normal !?

At some point Gold related stocks with the right story, could rise for years to come
and that includes the Majors that are still very cheap/incredulously cheap if
Gold does what I believe it will over the next few years.

If Conroy comes up with the "right" news at some point then it would simply be a case of of get some stock as a foothold for those that may be understandably waiting-albeit there could be quite a scramble.

So what happens when a major takes over a moribund junior that can no longer pay it's way? SXX, that is what! I don't imagine any major gold company is interested in anything bar keeping the licences. Certainly not in keeping management on board, so assuming IF there is a deal, they will likely want 75% and even if they buy out at 20p, or 30p,(that is 0.3p pre-consolidation) while that is a relatively decent return on a small volume for anyone who has bought in in the last 2 years, whereas Management, who had their shares "bought for them" by PIs will be laughing all the way to the bank, but then wasn't that always the plan?
