I just checked out the SGZ website (in Cononish projects).

Proven stated as 24,000 ozs Au at 11.5 g/t
Probable stated as 174,000 ozs Au at 11.1 g/t

Measured & Indicated says 248,000 ozs Au plus another 18,000 ozs Au in inferred.
Grade across all resources 13.4g/t Au

Where is the 2m ozs Au? Have I missed something?

@mrmark, by your own admission this resource "news" is EIGHT (2012) years old. Given that zero progress has been made since, your post can only be construed as blatant ramping, based on overall gold price volatility.

I can't see why mining company getting out of bed for 0.3Moz at 2g/t. Contrast this for example with Scotgold, a REAL mining company, which has around 2Moz, at over 10x the grade (11-13g/t), importantly nearly half as PROVEN & PROBABLE RESERVE, not resource, and has already built a £26M operating mine infrastructure.

SGZ's market cap is around £25M so 10x Conroy's, as is its grade. I don't see much justification for your 20p, i.e. a market cap of £6M given the above comparison.

Can see this being 20p in a flash, wasn't much stock available last week and any sustained buying will drive this very quickly higher. The fund is willing to pay the 12p and so will expect 20-30p short term or wouldn't pay.A (JORC 2012) estimated resource of 320,000 Oz Au Indicated, 197,000 Oz Au Inferred (517,000 Oz Au) at an overall grade of 2 g/t Au has been established on a fraction of one of the gold target areas (Clontibret) with the majority of the drilling to date to a depth of less than 200m and a maximum depth of 350 metres. The deposit remains open in all directions as well as to depth and excellent gold intersections, e.g. 16.6m at 6.5 g/t Au, have been recorded outside the current resource area.

the JV for Clontibret should be the one and only focus here. Anything else is just rinse, repeat. If he doesn't get a JV over the line in the next 3 months it is never going to happen - would be better to hand over the licenses to a real company

Well put RG, when the gold standard was removed and the world became a basket case in the late 70’s, early 80’s gold rallied over 2000%. If we take a base of 200$ (when GB decided it wasn’t sensible to hold Hugh gold reserves, strange that the so educated pick the perfect low to sell) then + 2000% from this point would equate to £4000 / 5000 / oz, hence some of the tiddlers will rise 100 fold but one needs a spread of tiddlers, a rising tide will probably lift all boats but some much more than others. We saw what happened to ERIS resources yesterday and this was just a similar story to what CGNR has been releasing over the last 20 years, just different timing. They all need finance and a major with deep pockets to get interested. Once that happens, any pig can fly, all be it, temporarily.

Sentiment changes- and it can change overnight......

Conroy had little problem raising £1.8 Million 28 October 2010

Ironically Gold was circa $1300 - and maybe Market sentiment then saw Gold rising to its $1900.


Ironic that Gold is now $1700 and sentiment towards most Gold stocks is truly
dreadful.


Now imagine how this will change when all realise Gold will eventually go far
further than $2000.

Only those that don`t understand Gold and what is happening with all Major Confetti Currencies that will
prove they are not "real Money "- will miss the relevance of how sentiment
is going to eventually be so incredibly in favour of Gold Tiddlers.

Conroy has certainly achieved a lot more since 2010,so maybe it just remains
the possibilities of what it could achieve when the so called Market starts to
back it.

I believe there are 10-20- 50 baggers(or more ) to be had in Canada`s TSX-V,and it will happen (not for all) and that`s why you need a good selection.

Just maybe Conroy will be one of Aim`s future true multi-baggers.

Yes-It will need Management to deliver the right story - and deliver on that-
this coming "Gold and Silver as the only true Money to be had" - era that is now upon us.

I`d certainly rather hold several Gold stocks than Apple and so many other $multi-Billion valued stocks- that are not telling the truth of what is coming in the next few years.

I have waited so patiently and now we are on the cusp of what I predicted years ago "The dot-Com era of
Gold and Silver stocks "
