Sallad2 - I would dispute that this is a valid reason to delay filing - the accounts year end is 31 October, if you wanted to write down the value of the investment at that date what is wrong with the Market value on 31 October?

No doubt you are aware the that non filing of accounts, per the information on Companies House, is considered a criminal offence

I decided to incur the penalty and wait for the outcome of the Dublin case so that a proper value can be ascribed to the CON shareholding.

Unlike Teeling I do not believe in including assets at more than they are worth e.g. money due to CON by Nobel Resources.
