A 196000 sale at 50p at 9.19am but not reported until after the close did the damage to the share price yesterday. Hopefully without a similar event today we will move up again. It will be interesting to see if Jim buys again.

All I hear is good and positive, negotiations are going well (locals general view ) , sponsored engineers by cnr know they will need to report for duty when called (before two years, no specific dates yet) ,....

The shareholder patience required is one thing.

The complete and utter dedication required by a mine CEO is another.

It's extraordinary when you think how focused a mine-boss has to remain through decades.
Not only negotiating with the host government over those decades, but the local population, the utilities, the shareholders... and all those interviews continually banging the drum.

I'm not surprised that billionaire investors such as Beatty etc put so much emphasis on CEOs who have previously brought a mine to fruition. I believe it was JM that previously worked alongside / identified MC - and has obviously made a sizeable bet on him - as a character who could pull this off.

I would assume compulsory purchase is probably not on the agenda and only a last resort because it will hold things up and get bogged down in red tape.

RNS regarding exercise of warrants such that 20000 new shares have been issued and CNR has received £8200.
Not really sure why CNR is down 3.7% on volume of 128000 with buys outnumbering sells 5:1.

Sometime ago I posted here a link to the nicaraguan mining law, it could be translated by Google, but first, it would need to be typed.
It is clear that we can adquire all the land one way or the other.
But we need the support of the people, hence the negotiations continue. My contact tells me that he often sees negotiators visiting the landowners houses.
There will always be a hard core of environmentalists that don't want us, but CNR is doing a really great job to win minds and hearts of the villagers and beyond.
Risk is decreasing every day, target is to aquire all land by end of year. Many people hearts have turned to support CNR.

My understanding from posts by Book5 is that under Nicaraguan mining law a sale can be forced at a fair price. Logically it would follow that if 85% has been purchased then a fair price has been established. I think Condor are continuing to persue the negotiation route but would have the force sale option in the limit. If that is a correct view they can’t hold Condor to ransom over price. Perhaps others can say if I am right on this.

Nope, they only have to make a reasonable offer, if it's deemed reasonable and not accepted they can compulsorily acquire. The mine cannot happen without 100% acquired or legal agreements in place.
Nothing is holding anything up, they only started to acquire in earnest last year, there wasn't much point until all permits were in place.

Is there any possibility of the last 15% just not selling? Surely there land is now way more valuable than the first 15% who sold? And are they situated at the edge or in the middle or dotted about? And can the mine happen without 100%? Or once you get past a certain threshold are you force sold? What's actually holding ip the last 25% I Guess is my question.

We have 85% at La India, 100% at Mestiza (tolling an immediate possibility with Calibre) and a significant acreage at America.

Let's hope you're right I utilised an ISA allowance and am already in the red! But then to be honest with my past purchase track record why would this be any different this time lol! ATB & GLA as always.

This one will be fine. It is easy to get frustrated when other shares are moving so wildly.

This has closed higher than the month before every month this year except June. Thats positive.
