As I can't drink much, I would request to change the drink for a nice sea bass from waitrose. 😂 , nothing too expensive and handy for Christmas. We love that fish

I don't think is the case, why? bcs
The Law of Natural Resource is the one used to expropiate land for projects (mining, oil...) of national interest. This law says the catastral value will be paid. We are paying well above this value. Some former land owners, with the procceds from their sales, have bought more land elsewhere, they seem very happy with their money.
Apparently the cooperative's concession is on land that belongs to the GOVERMENT. Majority of miners cant work in the winter months as pits are close to ravine. EVERYBODY I spoke with says this will not be un obstacle, I hope they are right. I have watched videos and it is shocking how extremely primitive dangerous and hard work this is, yet they work that way as there is nothing else. As some miners say "we are manos arriba" and we will negotiate.
I hope all this work for all involve, including the locals in the long term, may them be blessed .

Book5, great work, sir. Can I just ask, if this old lady is the stumbling block at the very end, is it possible that she might be offered a much more generous deal than the others for being the hold out guy, to such an extent that it causes the others to demand reciprocity?

You are wellcome.
I have been told that the cooperative of miners has received a letter from Cnr and that this week both sides are meeting to start negotiations.
Regarding the old lady, one way or the other we will buy her land bcs the law is in our side; by the way, she knows this. However, it is very probable that negotiations have already started, including a non disclosure agreement.

I hope in one month, or less, we will have our offers accepted to buy the last two properties. Geeting ready for warm 🍵.

Check Mina La India website in Spanish:
Three villagers, former land oweners, give testimonies of how the process of selling their land was. They said all went well. Interesting bcs this should shut up the ecowarrior website claims...
Good to watch these three testimonies, hopefully it should have a good effect in obtaining the social licensing and hopefully in the shareprice too.
7% more land we need..

In the past, at least one local businessman from La India used la Libertad to process his "broza" (stones), this was not an unusual practice, I am not sure now. There are other facilities that serve the artesanal miners.

Though it has not been confirmed yet, I believe we will have a mutual agreement with the old lady soon to buy her land.
Then, we will need to obtain the small cooperative's communal land.

Is the old lady changing her opinion from hold to sell? I heard some rumors, but they have not been confirmed yet.
The cooperative worries me too, bcs I don't know much about the process. I heard company may have a strong case to take their land if they do not want to negotiate. I heard only meetings have taken place and cnr needs to send formal letter. Contacts believe the cooperative will not be a big obstacle, I hope they are right.

So waiting game for last 7% of the land.

To be fair we should create jobs for all miners of this village... either with Cnr, or allow them to use our land

Recovered well by the end of play just 2p lower on volume of 610000 from 60 trades.
We have not had an RNS about the project since 13th August so hopefully we are due some news soon as we don’t want to lose momentum.

Apparently today cnr is going to tell some miners if they can take back their jobs at the Chorriado.
I think it will benefit the company if we allow them in. We need to improve image we don't destroy jobs before creating them.
