05/2/2016 14:13 | Temujiin 4 Feb'16 - 20:50 - 13345 of 13392 0 0 Andy, you can rightly argue that the Whittle report uses an inaccurate PoG which is beneficial to the numbers. But to balance that I suspect the Whittle report also uses PoO that is a lot higher than current prices, and that is detrimental to the numbers, given how much diesel those giant trucks etc use. --- Tem, I totally agree, the Whittle report is only a mathematical model, they could easily have run it through with current numbers for the price of gold AND POO, and that way an informed investment decision can be taken. I find it totally incredible the LSE allow such an RNS with figures that bear no relation whatsoever to current commodity prices. Ask yourself, had the price of gold been LOWER in the previous report, would they have used that price "for consistency"? I think we both know the answer to that one.... Have a good weekend, chat next week. | andy | |
