Certainly not me but being a generous soul I wouldn't want anyone to miss out on what has been a roller coaster at times for long term investors!

The current shareprice is an important level circa 180p or 9p pre consolidation,
This was the price at which McQuarie Bank made a sustantial investment of £3 Million. The shares need to move along way north for their investment to give the return they are looking for.
MC is now putting CNR on the radar of Canadian & US investors. No one should be in any doubt that if he succeeds in attracting some serious US investment this will go up very quickly.

Condor setting up for another slingshot ?

Look at the similarities in the chart from October-November 2010.

Almost exactly the same formation after a big move which formed the platform for the next big move into December

PP the writer is sponsored to do his story by the Spread Betting people....enough said really. They are only interested in traders. They have no interest in long term holders. They will therefore conclude it's better to sell up so they can ply their trade with the shares that become available.

Pretty fair write-up on Company.

Not sure about the 'Investment' conclusion though. Where does a newcomer get off telling long term investors when they should be booking profits ? Can the writer see into every single one of his readers individual circumstances ?

panamabob2 the above comments are not mine they are those of attendees.

In terms of El Sal that was my original reason for 'punting' on CNR and still remains a possibility in terms of added value, however remote that opportunity may in fact appear it has most definitely NOT gone away. MC is always very cautious about what he says, remember under promise and over deliver. I believe El Sal will eventually resolve their issues but I'm afraid petty politics has to take place first before they realise the national necessity that requires inward investment from abroad.

In terms of Nic and going into production, well I guess we have three options open to us:

1) Carry on drilling and adding/improving resources, albeit there has to be an end to this at some point even if it takes years.

2) We are on with the PEA due within 60 days or so. We can continue to the PFS and BFS and 'go for it' in terms of open pit production at c100k oz pa. This will require some considerable investment and we'll need some serious people on board who have taken a minnow from exploration to production - not anyone can do this.

3) Do both 1 & 2 - what I think we will do of course and what MC seems to suggest we will follow.

Whilst the above are taking place there is always the possibility of M&A activity especially after we have a PFS in 2013.

My target price remains £5, but MC seems to suggest no doubt tongue in cheek £10.

Sunjammer,

An excellent synopsis of the presentation, spot on, and well done.

I think he outlined a compelling investment case for the company at the current market cap personally.

Thanks SJ.Lots to consider and digest.

I prefer the 'tongue in cheek ' bit.Not impossible if Gold gets out of control.

Yes.1 AND 2 are what seems to be MCs preferred option.

Go for it,I say!!!!!

Well El Salvador looking like a write off for the 'forseeable' future.

Canadian listing only really needed I suspect for ISA-able status and maybe to make it more visible and directly comparable to B2Gold shareholders. So we can wait for 2013.

Clearer transcription of pdp's post

From pdp100:

For what it's worth here are my thoughts on this evening's presentation.

MC was his normal very professional self with the added advantage that he has an EXCELLENT story to tell after yesterday's "game changer" update.

Some interesting updates to the presentation, compared to last week's presentation in Vale. I am sure the company will post on the website tomorrow:

1. 12 month target for la India - 3m oz resource with 1m indicated. MC's exact words – should "easily able to hit".

2. Fast track to open pit mining now there is almost 1m oz open pit.

Not discussed with the board but MC feeling is fast track to open pit. Target 100k oz pa mill.

3. Prove additional open pit resources... Start trenching America vein to see if it mirrors la India for open pit opportunity.

4. PEA within 60 days.

Additional comments:

1. Changed from JORC to CIM for North American investors. 43-101 report out within 30 days.

2. Further drilling to prove up 3 veins: Mestiza, America and la India

3. El Salvador not getting any better

Questions asked:

1. Environmental issues – obviously need to address and meet all international standards but cyanide is used by 3 other producers in Nicaragua.

2. Open Pit v BFS – which is the chicken and which is the egg. Do we actually need to get to BFS and measured resources if we can move enough to indicated to get the funding we need.

3. Do we have what we need to go to production – no we would need a serious miner who has set up a gold mine

4. Canada listing? – in no hurry, not for next 6 months, but would like to attract Canadian fund managers who would be happy to buy in London listed shares if the story is good enough.
