Someone from somewhere is going to make an absolute fortune out of this debacle. Far too big a prospect to allow a tinpot organisation like Condor and its shareholders to benefit from this bonanza. It's a bit like watching a slow-moving horror show where the small shareholders are gradually despatched in the most painful way possible ie in their pocket.

It'll be too painful to come back here in a few years' time and find out just how much we'll have been screwed.

All it means to me is you have to be very very careful about the country you're invested in, because the local politics is every bit as important as the resource itself. The resource is undoubtedly there, but for us, it might as well be fool's gold.

Funding a 106M CAPEX at ca. 30M£ market cap will be rather painful for existing shareholders and is a theoretical scenario. We tried this for more than a decade and did not manage (sorry to bring this back to your memory)

news I heard from a contact:
-apparently Condor has told the miner (former land owner) he does not have a case in regards their land sale contract.
-however condor is going to allow around 40 miners to keep mining in that land for another 3 months. This deals with the second complain of lack of jobs and perhaps helps condor to justify it devotes 1% of its land to artisanal mining.

I suppose cnr will need to respond in writing to the ministry, and the ministry to the miner
So far positive for us and the majority of the miners too

all is so simple yet we make it too complicated because we are greedy, we wanted the last oz of blood, we may end up with was written in the wall from the beginning

give away la mestiza and move on pls, that way 27p should be in the pocket
the more we delay this:
- less gold in the ground
- more dilution
- delay the cash flow

we are not too English!! trust me, we are like soft Sicilians at best. I wish we have been remotely English in our deals: up front and to the point, independent from the government, imaginative, flexible.

I would say the miners are the one behaving like English, correct, educated, and not revolutionary

A mixture of Bad luck - Management possibly too English - End result a total balls up - However also appears to have taken some knowledgeable Canadian miners with them.

Any bets on the level of the scalpers bid and nationality.
Guess nationality Chinese or Russian - Bid level between 8p and 11p.

Hahaha. 35k is neither here nor there. It isn't a competition anyway. I lost more than that but at least I cut most at almost double the current price. Still interested in seeing the price higher for my remnants though. But no way do I get out in profit. And lost confidence in management around the time I cut. Suckered in by good old pros. But that's ok I'm still here and have many other irons. But as book 5 says, I think there is actually gold there but in mark twains world there isn't even a hole in the ground and we are not certain who owns it or for how long! But to be honest if you are coming in fresh now you're risk reward probablyIs not terrible.

Why? Bcs JM is in charge he wants to sell above 27p (or so I belive) so he will move away dead wood and get a practical solution to come out of this mess
9p more than current 18.0p means offer will be taken

I have never worked for condor
Info I have come from the guiriseros and villagers, I am a native Spanish speaker
I do not have any contact with any cnr employee
Remember when I told u some neighbours were chasing tree surveyors from their land with shotguns and machetes ? That time has passed, majority have sold their land.
We should not being told porkies and local deserve respect
We could do with an visionary leader able to unite international institutions, the government and the locals: a business plan where everyone wins
