The RNS this morning shows the holdings of significant shareholders with above 3% following the recent issuing of new shares. They remain the same as before. So no one has taken enough shares in the placing to get a 3% holding and therefore we don’t know where 15 million shares have gone. Clearly they are spread over a number of holders who could be new and existing. Hopefully but for investment not trading.
Gold is up to 1699 at present. No trades so far.

but on an NPV basis for Condors 5m oz? what is a realistic share price?

I also saw the Hummingbird acquisition but IMO is not comparable to CNR, as Karoussa has basically given up in 2016 and now Hummingbird bought in at a bargain price of around 10 £/oz while providing funding for equipment invest.
So, even though the oz resources are comparable, the company situation isn't.

I saw that Hummingbird had a very useful NPV for its new Kouroussa 1m oz @ 3 oz per ton acquisition at various gold prices. That NPV was for a project bought for $10m + + for which they need to spend $100m on plant to bring to production and which then generates NPV's around $250m. Can't copy and paste the table onto here.

Is there a similar table for Condor either for La India or the total company and its 5m ozs capability.

And what is that in share price terms, given 117k shares in issue and that Condor was £50 per share back in 2006?

A 50000 buy has just gone through at39.9p as the volume increases to 148000. Only 3 small sells out of 17 trades. Let’s see if the volume starts to pick up as day goes on. I think a lot of people are watching and will dive in once it starts a serious move.

As soon as the first 100.000 oz/year production plant is installed, we will (assuming Aisc at 700$oz) produce a net cash of 60 - 70 GBp per share in the very first year.
Or, turn it the other way round, we need to produce around 56.000 oz of gold to fully fund our current market valution - thats about 7-8 months of production.
The current valuation is absurdly low.

The capex, and lots else, has to be repaid from that Billion ! which in any case is spread a long way into the future !

Still slow with just 90000 traded this morning.
Perhaps time just to take stock of a very basic fact. It is widely accepted that during the initial phase of the mining Condor will produce £1 Billion profit.
Today all the new shares are in issue and our market cap is £46 million. A massive gap which if the market doesn’t close it soon an offer will.

Very quiet this morning with volume of 26000 after 8 small trades all buys bar a 5000 sell. I think we will get more news fairly soon as Mark seems to have wanted the new money fairly urgently so he may use some of it and let us know what he has done.

Expect gold to retest the $1600 first, before lifting again. Cnr should find support around the 36p placing price.

Now I only trust in gold and other precious metals to store wealth.

I believe gold will not rocket yet, but it is a sea of traquility in the middle of the turmoil we are in: probably a second wave, USA elections, brexit, climate change, china_usa, etc

$1600 is the assumed price in our recent valuation, I would be surprise if this year it closes below this level.

A little od to have that tick down at the close when buys were double sells and there was a 51000 buy at 40.25 late in the day. The mm’s seem to be holding it at this price.
Personally I don’t think Gold and Silver have run out of steam and with a good day on the FT people are concentrating on other stocks which are recovering as the lockdown eases. Very difficult if not impossible to draw any conclusions on trends from one days trading. Ross Beatty did an interview this week on Crush the Street and he certainly thought gold and silver had a lot further to go looking back to 2010 as an example and remembering that the markets are cyclical. He also was not suggesting now was the time to take profits as this cycle has much further to run which will bring serious profits as the gold price rises.

Looks as though the Gold and Silver run up may have run out of steam - Virtually all miners and explorers down today - From watch list 68 down - 14 no change - 8 up- Could this now be the time to take profit or cut losses?
