03/3/2006 12:23 | JTK there will be very pleasing news on monday, believe me. the directors buying regularly gartshore and liontrust holding significant amounts Not alot of free stock available research note very bullish Dividend increasing profitable co in a niche and growing market results well ahead of expectations i cannot see a downside to this JTK to be honest. | habayyut

03/3/2006 10:18 | ddraig yes the dividend will be 0.75p this year. very good in my view. Which other small cap is operating profitably, has seen strong trading and robust growth, pays a dividend and also is in a niche and rapidly growing market. the results are out in the morning on monday with a presentation at 10.30 am. | habayyut
03/3/2006 10:14 | HABAYYUT The 1.55p for 2005 is the revised figure, post the announcement The dividend is estimated to be 0.75p for this year, and 1p for next year based on these revised figures. That wouldn't be a bad result at all, and given potential growth would still make CNC attractive at the current share price. Problem is the market cap is still a bit low for most funds, and it's an AIM share. Perhaps in the medium term it will move to a full listing, but for the moment I'm personally happy to take the growth and potential that's there. | ddraig
03/3/2006 10:03 | ddraig i have it on good authority that the initial market forecast was "robust growth" and the CNC have exceeded this greatly. There may also be a dividend increase in the results on monday, who knows. And the results will cover the period up to Dec 05. As per the RNS of 6/12/05 Concurrent Technologies PLC said profit for the year is expected to be substantially ahead of market expectations. In a trading update, the company said it has enjoyed strong performance during the past three months including the highest ever monthly turnover since the company came to the market. This performance is currently being augmented by an exceptionally favourable product mix, the group said. the growth of CNC has been extremely good. | habayyut
03/3/2006 09:57 | ddraig - 8 Dec'05 - 14:16 - 431 of 474 edit It's supposed to be 1.12p for this year, and 1.75p for next year. That's only from a single analyst though. I imagine we're looking at closer to 1.5p for this year, if it's "substantially ahead". Not sure if there will be a knock on impact next year. ddraig - 15 Dec'05 - 20:56 - 433 of 474 edit The analyst has upped earnings estimates to 1.55p for this year, and 2.09p for next. --- So originally it's 1.12p for 2005, then upgraded to 1.55p after the announcement. This year (2006) has been upgraded from the original forecast of 1.75p to 2.09p. | ddraig

03/3/2006 09:06 | I have one full year forcast with m o n e y a m and that's 1.6p EPS H for this year So it all depends on what is "substantial" to them, usually the market likes companies that hammer forcasts so maybe more to come or will they think it's already in the price. This years forcast is 2.1p EPS and this must be a old forcast which will be upgraded. Lets see what the price does today, usually holding for results is risky but this stock may well come out with something special and the stock jump another 10-20%. 19/2/2006 08:01 | I topped up on Thurs (before the price fell back!). Looked back over the 2005 share price performance. Rose from 18.5 on 9th Aug to 27.75 on 13th Sept. Assuming the news on 7th March is as good as indicated, agree with dealit that it could realistically reach the mid 30's. Will be interesting to see how the price moves over the next fortnight. Think us long-term holders deserve to be rewarded but know it doesn't often work like that! | rosethepose |
