16/3/2021 12:38 | I would imagine so, the sellers been a drag on the share price for months so we'll soon see. | wednesday6
16/3/2021 12:35 | Excuse me for asking what is probably a daft question but if it was a sale of 4.66 million does it also mean that there was a buyer for them? Presumably such a large trade must be from an institution? | bottomboat
16/3/2021 12:26 | Massive trade of 4.66 million at 99p, wonder if that's our seller gone? | wednesday6

03/3/2021 09:18 | Well overdue a bounce here. Should be nearer 120p. Next newsflow should be very positive I hope. Think results are April so should pick up well before then. | its the oxman
02/3/2021 21:35 | My post 509 No date had been set for announcement of results as at 12th Feb. Not sure why divi announced before hand | scruff1
02/3/2021 17:39 | Results should be this month. Based on previous years and RNS stating that dividend will be paid on or before 6th April, the results will probably be out week commencing 15th March. First time they have had an ahead of expectations TU in eight years - last year was a slightly ahead. Previous six years were in line or broadly in line. Looking for some evidence of 5G involvement. Really looking for any evidence of meaningful growth. | mammyoko
02/3/2021 17:25 | Results will be May imo | scepticalinvestor
02/3/2021 16:19 | Not on the list. More likely the harsh realisation that this is a share only for those with very long time horizons | mammyoko
01/3/2021 16:21 | I suspect cnc has been hit by IGG forced selling. So taken opportunity to top up and close IGG account. | earwacks

23/1/2021 11:56 | Thats a very good point Scruff. I first invested in CNC when it was one of the top holdings of the now wound up Alternative Investment Trust. Must have been early noughts. I bought some independent of the trust at around 19p. It has just about doubled in 10 years and almost doubled again in the next ten. It actually doubled from the dip in March when I bought again. Not an easy stock to trade, can be very illiquid with ridiculous spread, but whenever there is a market crash a dependable stock to buy. It is also one of the very few tech stocks with progressive dividends. This is a quote from a bb post in 2013:'This has to be one of the quietest publicly quoted profit earning high-tech companies in existence. Why?' There are plenty more like this over the years.Nothing seems to have changed Lord Lee has been a keen holder and one of about 3 AIM stock in his portfolio. I kind of view it as a core holding now. Wont make us rich, but safer and more rewarding than a savings account, which in a way is a terrible inditement on a world class specialist tech company. It could be taken over, but there doesn't seem much point. More like commercial arm of the department of defence. Processors are not the glamorous end of tech, but the conditions these have been tested under are quite impressive and reliable with a 15 year parts replacement window. Importantly they can adapt to new tech like processors enabling AI. Its been a year since they announced the launch of that and still not exactly set the world alight. Maybe unfair as has coincided with the worst pandemic for over 100 years. | earwacks
21/1/2021 21:31 | Me too andy. Got great faith in this co. Solid balance sheet. Solid Business. Solid management. Just need something to light the touch paper for a bit of liquidity. Keep topping up so hope I am right. Slowly slowly catchee monkey. Only problem is there are plenty good trading stocks in this current climate so a bit annoying to have cash marooned. | scruff1
21/1/2021 09:30 | I'm sitting tight here and have been for a while... gla | andyview
21/1/2021 09:28 | Blimey gsw - have you been hibernating? Wouldnt blame you in this weather. Sp seems to have joined you :-) | scruff1 |
