I'm afraid the P/E is much more than 22 if you remove the life insurance. But there are some moving parts / possible adjustments (amortisation etc) which can be discussed.

That's the only reason I have yet to invest, the rich valuation. 22 x earnings bit to steep for me. Of course, I could and probably will be proved wrong!

Sliced half yesterday. If the £1m one-off (life insurance payout) is excluded from earnings, and the forecasts from Cenkos make any sense, the valuation is rich IMHO. Naked Trader & Midas excitement expected to fizzle out over time or when lowish profits (which have been flagged) are delivered.

I aim to add again after results, when I expect the rating to be re-evaluated (including by me, if I am wrong to be cautious now).

Looking resilient, especially having hit a new 2020 high this month.

Tipped in Midas in daily mail which does pick some real winners.

I thought so too initially but subtract the cash on hand from their market cap and it then represents better value, but I got in at £1

Like the company, and it's venture in to AI boards could be a game changer. Is it a touch expensive at 20 x earnings though?

Hi flueryp, I don't visit or post often so I just saw your April post above. Lord Lee's top 5 ISA holdings were published in a newspaper at the end of March. They were - Air Partner, Aviva, Christie Group, Concurrent Technologies and Treatt.

The Air Force's AI-Powered 'Skyborg' Drones Could Fly as Early as 2023
The U.S. Air Force is finally pushing into the world of robot combat drones, vowing to fly the first of its “Skyborg”; drones by 2023. The service envisions Skyborg as a merging of artificial intelligence with jet-powered drones. The result will be drones capable of flying alongside fighter jets, carrying out dangerous missions. Skyborg drones will be much cheaper than piloted aircraft, allowing the Air Force to grow its fleet at a lower cost.

I’m impressed by their increased marketing of late, showing a desire to grow and keep on top of the latest technology with Artificial Intelligent products.

Cenkos-

FY19 revenue increased 16.9% to £19.4m following a strong H2/19, c9% ahead of forecast. New products released included Concurrent’s first AI board, aimed at the military market. Order intake was strong, especially during H2/19, continuing into 2020. Inevitably COVID-19 has caused uncertainty about H2/20 activity levels and potential delays from customers, though there has been no immediate slow-down. Concurrent is a supplier to some of the world’s most prominent defence companies in the UK and US and continues to supply these customers uninterrupted. Given COVID-19 related uncertainty we have taken a prudent view and trimmed our FY20 revenue (and consequently PBT forecasts). With over £10.5m cash and no debt, a strong order book and top tier customers, Concurrent is continuing to invest in R&D and progress its plans to add new software and hardware product ranges and enter new markets.

THanks Bottomboat. I know Treatt. Its taken about 20 years to get to where it is now. Hasn't set the world alight but better. than most of the ftse 100 which isn't saying a lot. Have gratefully received my dividend today from CNC. They have moved from around 18p to 94p today, the best performer out of that bunch possibly. Must be one of a handful of companies still paying which is a pretty good sign.
