I think 600-650 should be our expectations . Less than 600 then is not great but 600 or above in line then focus on upcoming deals to this improve cash flow even more.

Why no quarterly update last quarter then philipo1? Why no quarterly update for this quarter yet? LK has ramped this with hype and promises but no production numbers,it stinks. I suggest that holders take their blinkers off and ask about why Cerp had no quarterly numbers for Q4 and why Q1 numbers are late!

COLUMBUS ENERGY RESOURCES PLC

("Columbus" or the "Company")

Operational, Financial and Management Update

Columbus, the oil and gas producer and explorer focused on onshore Trinidad with the ambition to grow in South America, is pleased to provide an update on its operational and financial activities as well as announce the appointment of Tony Hawkins as Legal and Mergers & Acquisition ("M&A") Director and Troy Wilson as Goudron Field Manager.

Leo Koot, Executive Chairman of Columbus, commented:

"Since the Annual General Meeting in September, Columbus has continued to deliver at pace upon our wholescale change in strategy and has focussed on our target of increasing the Company's production in Trinidad to over 550 bopd and becoming cash flow positive by year-end 2017. It is my pleasure to announce that we have achieved and exceeded these targets, with the Company achieving production of 561 bopd within the past week and will be generating more cash than we are spending on our day to day activities across the Group as we enter 2018. The Company now finds itself in a position where we are fully funded for our planned 2018 work programme and can use our positive cash flow and currently available funds to re-invest in further real growth of Goudron production in 2018 and also on other growth opportunities.

Delivering this target has not been easy and has involved a huge amount of work and dedication from the staff of Columbus which a new Company Video, which can be viewed here (hxxps://youtu.be/FoJNT8iiZYE) and on the Company's website, illustrates.

Although we achieved the 561 bopd production level recently, a 71% increase from where we started at the end of June, numerous legacy challenges, old infrastructure and inferior oil-field practices and equipment meant that we were unable to grow our production to reach the internal stretch targets I hoped might be achievable in 2017. ////// Note the full quarter production numbers were not mentioned, just 1 good weeks number got a mention! I smell a very smelly rat here!

We'll clean yourself up then, LK has been good to his word so far, so why the change now?

If I remember correctly the last production comments 3 months ago were limited to 1 weeks numbers,a carefully selected weeks numbers imo. I do not recall seeing a full quarters production RNS,I wonder if there will be one this quarter? I smell a rat here.

Does anyone know when we are due the promised update ? I thought it was to be before end of March but I’m open to correction if I was wrong in that thought.

End of March it’s late////// I wonder why it is late? It couldn't be because Leo will have to give the market real news and not just hype?

Or are you using storm damage figures? If LK used these figures he won't get a good response, if he exceeds his word on end of June RNS the share price should rise

600 doesn't make sense, end of June update after storm quoted in RNS 380-420, so how is nearly double 600?

offerman, Leo's words were "I hope to close that deal Q1." So, probably soon.

I am expecting the quarterly report this week.

Have they still been stimulating one or two wells per week? If so then that's a heck of a lot of wells since a few months ago at last update at Christmas . I wonder if the first batch have continued on levelsOr dropped a little . There should have been enough time now to see any fluctuations stability or drop offs.

Quarterly production report. Leo stated last week that we were near to doubling production, so I reckon we will be running along high case graph line at about 650 bopd or thereabout. Everything seems to be going to plan but Q1 results should confirm that - some time this week I hope.

Unknowns should not be an issue at this early stage of Leo's tenure as he has already demonstrated that he's a man with a plan. We all want things to happen y'day and only if life was that simple! He has done everything he has so far promised and more (over-achieved)....all within and ahead of schedule. Sure, nothing is a given, but LTH's should be very satisfied and re-assured with LK at helm. Funny that we (certainly I) almost take it for granted the progress made at Goudron and can't wait for the next goody bag.

Forecasting the future share price right now is very difficult.

In the LK interview multiple market cap was mentioned, but not knowing what the target is or whether its a high volume producer, or going to be a merger or an acquisition or how it will be paid for?

There are too many unknowns.

If we merge with another company, how much will each companies shares be worth?

holly, that's within my forecast band.

Ross, you have a nerve asking philipo1 why he isn't buying in now. You have become ace ramper, so how many shares do you have?
