04/11/2006 23:02 | MACD & RSI are heading down and share price could be retreating from all time high around mid 190's, but there's strong broker support. Call me impatient or greedy but I'm thinking of cashing in and buying something on an uptrend. | reeshar

26/10/2005 10:04 | Is the PER "so low"? Using the 'underlying' profit figures (that is, stripping out amortisation and one-off exceptional items), their eps was 10.21p in 2004 and Yahoo give average analysts' estimates of 10.01 in 2005 and 10.9 in 2006. That is a PER over over 15 falling to 14 in 2006, which is slightly above market-average and probably at a premium to the sector. Regards, Ian | jeffian
26/10/2005 09:02 | Thanks jeffian. They've done quite well then. Do you know why the pe is so low? I cant work out how to tell the difference between old fashioned pe rates when it was a mathematical thing and the recent habit of analysts altering them to reflect future ,estimated, earnings. This pe could mean the share price is much too low or that the projected profitd are low. Give me the old fashioned method any day! | cashbunny
