26/8/2014 13:34 | How long before Vele back up and running? From this mornings RNS... Vele Colliery is a "brownfields" project, which implies less time and risk to develop the asset compared to a "greenfields" project, and has the potential to become CoAL's near term cash generator. | ianio5691
26/8/2014 13:15 | £100m cash buys them 12 months no more That is what their losses are likely to be and more based upon the last 3 years trading | buywell2
26/8/2014 12:39 | Takes time for news to be digested but future prospects look good for This tiddler,if indeed you can call it that. | karmastuartra
26/8/2014 09:13 | fantastic news today. Lets see if this can now climb back towards 25p. The management have done a great job and will realise big value in the long term | kirk 6
26/8/2014 08:45 | Now topping at 3p would be a gift ;) | cantrememberthis2
26/8/2014 08:42 | Once completed, this much needed cash injection removes a lot of the immediate clouds from the horizon. Our cash position and the imminent payment due to RIO were my biggest concern. The placements will not have been agreed without a lot of due diligence, and they will have a much better insight into the future, and were happy to proceed. The split of the Placees removes the danger of one overwhelming stakeholder, and also the risk of a low-ball takeover. We can now forge ahead and complete the plant modifications at Vele, and start generating income. We can then turn our attention to the game changer in our portfolio - Makhado, which in turn will fund Soutpansberg. This is only going one way IMHO Strap in and enjoy the ride! | ianio5691
26/8/2014 08:22 | Will turn in a profit in the end imo | karmastuartra
26/8/2014 08:17 | Average losses for this company have been over £100m a year for the last 3 years The current fund raising with existing cash is around £100m | buywell2
26/8/2014 08:14 | At least the placement has given some the opportunity to get out | buywell2
26/8/2014 08:10 | Quick reply,very encouraging . | karmastuartra

26/8/2014 06:50 | Happy with outcome, yes near in 700m new shared for dilution, but rarely have I seen placements at substantial premiums. Expect a bounce now to 4.5p imo | cantrememberthis2
26/8/2014 06:33 | I say "well done" to David Brown as I expect Rio thought they might have CZA "over a barrel" re the $30m payment | channel pirate
26/8/2014 06:15 | this could repay handsomely over s/m and long term but given mgmt history it seems they can always pull failure from the jaws of success. on balance a good punt i think i will be in today | adejuk
26/8/2014 06:11 | oooppppppppsssssssss | mrshaungcm
21/8/2014 19:38 | Well I'm sticking it through here, seems unloved except by the Chinese | cantrememberthis2
21/8/2014 19:03 | Depends who else puts up money. 200m at 5.5p is only £11m. That will hardly go far. | willoicc
21/8/2014 16:50 | BHE invested $100 million for around 200million shares a couple of years ago , they will now invest further by buying 200million at 5.5p , so they are now the majority holder , and will decide when to take the lot , it certainly will not be at a premium , if they get their way , interesting times ahead | jotoha2
