Another large delayed trade showing pre-market for 2.4m
Difficult to tell if a buy or a sell though.

Decent, but in suspect that was a sell, otherwise this would have ended a lot higher saying that it did spike in volume intra day, who knows. I've added good luck.

This company is turning itself around and will continue to hence the reason Haohua Energy is interested in paying 5.5p. Once the funding is sorted its back to 25p

Erm as far as I can tell the market reaction is typical. Share Price is depressed, the company is in stress so a cheap buck call.

On the other hand, perhaps the chinese do not want erosion of their own monies here, hence to stall the dilution attempts, they are coming in on the 11th hour.

Time will tell, golden opportunity for someone to takeover at 7-10p TO price but thats another dream altogether.

Coal of Africa Limited (the "Company") notes the recent announcement on the Shanghai Stock Exchange by Beijing Haohua Energy Resource Co. Ltd that one of its subsidiaries plans to acquire not more than 215 million shares in the Company for a maximum price of 5.5 pence per share.

They are paying up to 5.5p a share for the equity. So must believe the company is worth far more than that!!!!!!

Whoever now stumps up the cash to save this company

Will effectively wipe out existing shareholders equity in the conditions and price they will insist upon

CZA are in no place to dictate anything

Holders of this paper are now over a barrel

Reading this mornings rns, the company may well raise more cash through further share issue, and if the Chinese have jumped the gun and announced a take up of 215 million , then that is £12 million raised from one source , surely not enough to complete the next phase , clearly dilution is on the way !

So who is dumping the 200 million @5.5p to the Chinese ? That level of stock is not around at the moment.

My average is a lot higher than 3p current share price.

The Chinese see value in @5.5p means its more opportunist and bargain hunting.

Hence I think the RNS stating CZA exploring options means they might be unimpressed but desperate. Rather that than shareholder dilution as was implied on several news releases.

Added and holding

Are these the same Chinese people that also invested last year at 25p...?

Could they go for an outright takeover?

What do they know that we don't......

ianio5691

Does that mean someone has invested their money at double the current price? That is great news.

Ha ha, so 1/5 of the shares in current issue, someone would like to pay 5.5p!

That is pretty cheap, the Market Makers and AT trades of late says it all, shake out the weak, buckle up Cinderella and enjoy the ride.

As the Company has stated in its interim financial results released on 10 March 2014, the ability of the Company to continue as a going concern and to pay its debts as and when they fall due is dependent on, among other things, obtaining additional funding from either financial institutions or the equity markets to meet its planned commitments. In line with this, the Company is currently in discussions with a number of parties, including strategic investors, regarding a potential conditional capital raising for the Company. At this time, the discussions remain incomplete and no binding agreements have been entered into.

The Company will provide a further update to shareholders in due course.

Just read an article saying that China is banning coal burning power stations in Shanghai and Guandong provence by 2020.

Emails from the company still portray a positive outlook, but it's a pity the market do not see it like that. Did have a small (5000) buy the other day at 2.985p but as we don't even see a bounce now and again then it's no more buys from me until we see upward movement.
