18/11/2010 14:12 | Not heights yoyoy! Just look at that mountain behind us which peaked at 400p. Would be good to scale it again. | bones
18/11/2010 12:04 | Don't worry bones, I'll hold your hand if your frightened of heights | yoyoy
18/11/2010 11:57 | All alone! Results on 23rd next week so this may explain the price moving on up again ahead of hopefully promising progress and profits. Very thin market and each purchase on the book seems to move the MM's up. Stock must be a little short out there. | bones
08/11/2010 16:53 | A long term chart makes for a bit of perspective despite recent rises. There does not seem to be too much potential resistance before 250p so if the forthcoming interims continue the trend from the last finals, this is not an unrealistic target in my view. | bones
08/11/2010 16:41 | Welcome tick up today on very little volume (unless some order is being worked behind the scenes). | bones
29/10/2010 15:03 | yoyoy Obvious. Yes, true enough :) Not sure so many peeps have picked up on it though because the last annuals returned a tiny loss which hid the first half £1m loss and £1m 2nd half profit. So just making it clear to anyone interested that the PE may soon be cheap. I bought a few anyway in the hope the interims continue the improved trend. | bones
29/10/2010 14:07 | bones "On the basis that CML improve their trading profits and given that the second half of the year to 31/3/10 made around £1m post tax, that suggests y/e 31/3/11 could make way above £2m for a PE ratio in single digits. The interims to 30/9/10 should give us a good clue I guess." Hmmm, bit obvious but I think I know what you mean. Doing pretty well so far and not reflected in price. Interims due towards end of Nov (based on '09) | yoyoy
29/10/2010 13:34 | This is one of many very promising stocks that appears to have hardly any people involved. Can only be a good sign to me! On the basis that CML improve their trading profits and given that the second half of the year to 31/3/10 made around £1m post tax, that suggests y/e 31/3/11 could make way above £2m for a PE ratio in single digits. The interims to 30/9/10 should give us a good clue I guess. The price action certainly suggests a strong recovery but this is still mighty cheap if they follow through with good trading profits. | bones

13/10/2010 06:17 | Intel's results beat market expectations Intel said it expected future sale to remain solid Intel's latest results have beaten market expectations, thanks to "solid demand" for its microchips. The firm's net profits in the three months to 25 September totalled $2.96bn (£1.9bn), a 59% increase on the same period a year ago. The first major technology company to report its third quarter figures, its revenues advanced 18% to $11.1bn. Intel said: "Looking forward, we continue to see healthy worldwide demand for computing products." The company warned at the end of August that sales of microchips were weak, but they appear to have recovered since then. Intel's processors run 80% of the world's computers. | moreforus

07/6/2010 21:24 | Strong growth seen in chip sales Date: Thursday 03 Jun 2010 LONDON (ShareCast) - The tech bandwagon looks set to keep on rolling, according to Gartner, with the IT research group predicting computer chip sales will be 27% higher in 2010 than in 2009. The latest forecast represents an upgrade from Gartner's previous prediction, back in the first quarter of this year, of 19% growth, with the improvement attributed to the economic recovery happening more swiftly and across a broader spectrum than previously anticipated. Gartner forecasts that the semi-conductor market will grow to $290bn this year, up from $228bn, with PC and mobile phone sales driving around two-fifths of the growth. Sequential semiconductor growth has been very strong over the last five quarters, well above seasonal norms, and manufacturing capacity is tight," said Bryan Lewis, research vice president at Gartner. The market for DRAM (dynamic random access memory) is forecast to jump by 78% thanks to a combination of rising demand and higher prices. END Whilst this info/opinion will be too late to affect the March 31st year end figures(due Tues 15th June ) I geuss the sentiment behind the statement that accompanies the figures might be very bullish. Will push the shareprice nearer the NAV that it should reflect ie around 15+ million. | wiloughby2

07/4/2010 17:10 | when I read that shashousa had bought 40 thousand shares into his ISA/Sipp just a couple of days before the company announced, unexpectedly, that it had deciced not to delist,I was mighty cross. Having divested from my Isa and Sipp a not unreasonable holding, after being advised that I would not be able to hold delisted stock in either.Nearest damn thing I have personally witnessed to insider trading. Over the last few days we have seen a quite dramatic rise on very little volume and I can only surmise that trading within the business has improved dramatically and that some pleasant surprise awaits us around the corner. | wiloughby2

The board's objective is to drive shareholder value over the medium term and, following consultation, it intends to do this within the framework of a public listing which provides for liquidity in the shares with an appropriate degree of flexibility for a company of its size. 19/2/2010 15:38 | More director buying this week and management stating increased revenues - and no longer intending to delist. Seems investors may be over looking this one at the moment. Added a few more to my ISA today. Here's hoping. GL all | apsis2
16/2/2010 10:32 | early days yet, the current share price on balance sheet provides not value for the business. reckon we should see 50p here soon | empirestate
31/1/2010 15:02 | rainmaker, not necessarily a nose dive, i have been in a few delist situations in the past and got into them on the back of a potential delist on the grounds that, if it is not a delist under distress scenario then generally the company will offer a deal to holders who do not want an off market interest. these deals are obviously on the basis of reasonable value of the co. at present CML is fundamentally undervalued on balance sheet and the co have cash resources at their disposal. imo if a take of holders were to come about 40p minimum would be my conservative guess. | empirestate |
