09/1/2013 08:37 | Hi roddiemac - are you still around?? Any updates? This was highlighted on the breakout to me! | daza70
03/12/2012 18:37 | Within the wireless segment, they have a major customer order which is expected to trade through the second half and into next financial year. This is for a Tetra type radio for communications during natural disasters, such as the recent Tsunami. | roddiemac2
26/11/2012 11:50 | In June, Edison said " Importantly, the company`s SATA products remain on track to move into volume production in Q4 this year. These products open up a significant unaddressed segment of the market for CML , and uptake could scale sales and earnings significantly " My information is that new products in the Storage Segment , particularly SATA, are doing extremely well since launch earlier this month. ( The market for SATA is approximately four times he size of the current PATA markets which they currently service , which itself is still growing, particularly in the Networking Equipment sector. ) The Industrial SATA controller market is a key growth area for the GROUP. | roddiemac2
23/11/2012 15:25 | MMs knocking each other off the bid at 390 bid. Stock remains in demand it would seem. | bones
21/11/2012 17:12 | Hope so Smithy - hope so! | willydoctor
21/11/2012 16:33 | after todays bounce it looks like I might as well put the cheque book back in the drawer for now and be satisfied with the holding I currently have. Onwards and Upwards | smith99
21/11/2012 16:26 | Afternoon all. Very gratifying bouce back today. I thought they would come off after the figures - better to travel than arrive yadda yadda - but such a quick bounce suggests that there was not much selling and the figures have encouraged - as they should have done. I hope we will see £4 again soon. | willydoctor
20/11/2012 20:39 | Bones, Another thing to query is what do they plan to do with the growing cash pile? ---Invest in the business: make an acquisition. If they end up with more cash than they can use in the business, they may choose to make a special dividend payment; they have done that in the past. I hope to be able to answer this question and others in the next few days. I will be contacting management, and I am waiting to hear from someone who attended the presentation today. You are right about how the share price has tended to retrace 20% and more in this illiquid stock. | roddiemac2
20/11/2012 19:54 | Cash flow is ok, cash balances well up, debt way down, profit growth good, revenue up a smidgin. Overall, that is good on the basis that "turnover is vanity, profit is sanity and cash flow is reality"! I guess one area of concern appears to be the sizeable increase in debtors. But for that, cash flows would be even better. Is this a European problem? I note also that goodwill and development costs capitalised relate to Germany. Given that European demand is weak, I hope that this doesn't presage any writedowns of German businesses ahead of here. | bones
20/11/2012 19:05 | CML share price has been surprisingly steady of late. Historically it will retrace 20% - 40% without any particular reason other than supply and demand affecting a very illiquid stock. I would not be at all concerned even if these did go back to 300p. That said, growth is slowing but growth is still there. Wonder if they will ever sell out to a bigger player? | bones
20/11/2012 17:02 | im still waiting for 350 with cheque in hand, as the interims were "As Expected" I would not be surprised to see us slip to 300 either. Now there's a prediction based purely on TA and not FA | smith99
20/11/2012 12:45 | Nearly all very small deals so far. Some will be taking a quick profit, others a quick loss. This is not meaningful. More later when I have more details. I hold many more shares than have been traded today. | roddiemac2
20/11/2012 11:44 | ... apparently the market doesn't agree though. | funkmasterp12
20/11/2012 10:23 | Solid results. | funkmasterp12
19/11/2012 12:06 | It is quiet because there is nothing to say till we see the results tomorrow. | roddiemac2
19/11/2012 09:29 | Results tomorrow. Bit quiet here (there was a lot of buying in the run up to the last results), hoping for some good news and a move back to 400p. | funkmasterp12
08/11/2012 14:39 | Willydoctor, you obviously like to trade stocks . ( your broker must love you ) All my investments are an attempt at making money over the long term. Whist the story remains good , I remain invested. Traders inevitably miss out on long term winners. ( although they also tend to operate tight stop losses, consequently they avoid big losses.) The art of living is knowing what is possible in any situation; the real money is always made long term. Since your broker got you into this stock, what has he led you to expect from the investment? Ask him what he thinks the medium to long term potential is. | roddiemac2
08/11/2012 09:40 | Results out on Nov 20th. I wonder if it would be best to take a profit before hand or wait and see if they surprise on the upside. | willydoctor
06/11/2012 17:17 | well I certainly dont mind being proved wrong on that one fellas, I will be getting my cheque book out though if 350 is seen again. | smith99
03/11/2012 11:25 | I concur Gargoyle , much as I don`t like to make short term predictions . Interims are unlikely to disappoint. | roddiemac2
03/11/2012 03:05 | My guess is we won't see 350 again Smithy. Top up now before we clear 400. | gargoyle2
02/11/2012 17:28 | Im half expecting a top up at around 350 after this recent rally. You dont have to be a genius to look at the wonderful fundamentals of this company to realise that it is still underpriced considerably imo. | smith99
29/10/2012 10:55 | Great to see this back on the ascension after the recent dip. Long may it continue! | funkmasterp12
18/10/2012 03:59 | Thanks roddie - interesting! Cheers, Paul. | paulypilot |
