09/5/2012 15:29 | This sort of situation is always a little unnerving .We cannot discount the possibility of markets going into meltdown. The unusually high volume so far speaks of the jitters, to me. I could be wrong.Another thing to bear in mind, is that the shares have had a good run.I am not tempted to sell. | roddiemac2
09/5/2012 13:54 | Thanks, that makes sense. I'm glad I didn't sell! Even as we have had this conversation the price has picked up a little. | james_leeds
09/5/2012 13:22 | James ,-you cannot rely on information shown on trades, because of delayed publication of some trades . Several were delayed today. In general, until today ,trading has been predominantly made up of small deals. If markets tip down, there is the danger that people with good profit to take , will do just that. That is par for the course . | roddiemac2
09/5/2012 11:07 | Thanks roddiemac that is reassuring to hear. Indeed, there have been a lot of quite small trades recently and no big ones. | james_leeds
09/5/2012 10:49 | Liquidity has always been poor. The general market has turned sour.It could be that numerous small holders , who bought on tips ( The Express tipped the stock for 2012) have simply turned tail and sold , operating stop losses. There is no reason, that I know of, to believe the company`s fortunes have taken a turn for the worse. | roddiemac2
09/5/2012 09:43 | This thread has been quiet for a long time whilst there is a fairly steep dip in value. I could not find any CML specific breaking news to explain this. I thought perhaps it's more general market conditions plus the recent election results but I'm a comparative novice here. Any ideas anyone? | james_leeds
09/3/2012 12:36 | A clutch of small deals is indicative of the stock having been tipped somewhere. After a number of bad years , CML look to be doing well with a number of new products . I would expect them to be debt free at some point this year. They may already be .They have strong asset backing .The company could do very well from here. | roddiemac2
09/3/2012 11:35 | Nick,I think you'll find CR's previous post answers your question Nice rise though | jakleeds
09/3/2012 11:09 | Holding these shares as well as you Cr. This is a quiet BB. Do you know the reason for the rise. Not complaining. Have had these shares some time and was beginning to think that I should dump them, but patience is paying off.. | nickjoseph

04/3/2012 10:54 | Tech & Hardware sector dropped 17.6% last week..why??? Last time it dropped to 44 (July 2011) it rose back to its average of around 50-51 within a week...could any buying back into the sector head our way??? Still puts us at a discount to the sector of 169% at today's prices...:-) | kimball808

21/2/2012 08:38 | Subject: DJ CML Microsystems Operating Results Ahead Of Expectations LONDON (Dow Jones)--CML Microsystems PLC (CML.LN), which makes semiconductors for communication and data storage markets, said Tuesday that operating results through to the end of the period under review continue to be ahead of both the prior year comparable and earlier internal expectations by a satisfactory margin. MAIN FACTS: -Total revenues are in line with historic trends which traditionally see a slightly weaker second half to the full financial year. -Shipments of semiconductors into industrial and professional wireless applications continued to be firm. -Through the period a number of new products were released to market that are expected to both consolidate the Group's existing market position and also begin to drive adoption across wider markets. -Particularly pleasing are the sales revenue gains from flash memory controller chips for use within industrial solid state storage devices and embedded computing platforms. -Previously announced new products have commenced sampling at key customers and are currently on track to begin contributing to Group revenues during the next financial year. -Group received close to $700,000, net of costs and taxes, following the sale of its North American commercial property announced in November 2011. -Gross margins and costs remained within target range and the Group's net cash position has been strengthened. -Group remains on track to record good growth for the current financial year; remains confident that the existing strategy for both customer and product range expansion will lead to progress. -Shares at 0820 GMT, up 4 pence, or 1.5%, at 262.5 pence valuing the company at GBP40.75 million. -By Rory Gallivan, Dow Jones Newswires | cambium
