I think the use of the words 'run rate' means that using 2 months of Q2 to project forward for the full 3 months gives a result marginally below that actually achieved in Q1

Ok thanks. I find it a bit of an unclear update however the fact it was unscheduled points to a positive update on Thursday with QTR 2 net income exceeding QTR 1....I hope!!

In the trading update on 3 Sep it said the net income run rate for the 2 months this quarter is only slightly below the the first quarter! Im not sure if this means if this means the total income for the 2 months is close to the income for the previous 3 meaning qtr 2 is going to smash qtr 1 or it means the average monthly income is slightly below the average in quarter 1 meaning both quarters will be similar! Anyone got a take on it?
