13/12/2019 11:25 | SECTOR NEWS. This was posted by CLNR on twitter 20 mins ago so fresh out of the oven. Confirming oil in Zechstein reef play. water cut high so not optimal location probably and whole geological understanding now gets refined but there's oil in them reefs! #Darach Central-1 significantly de-risks the Zechstein Reef Play in the SNS and supports the material opportunity identified by #CLNR at Pensacola. | solooiler
13/12/2019 11:18 | Oil edging up gradually which is nice to see, later than i promised but here is the quote from 8 months ago. 29 mins in "It's very clear to us that Shell see this very much as a play opener and they are going to try and identify and they probably have already identified and rollout other similar prospects across the southern North sea moving forward. We would very much like to be part of that process and we already have identified areas which are potentially prospective and show similar levels of prospectivity, and it's not inconceivable that we couldn't end up jointly applying for additional licences in the next licencing round with Shell [32nd], or for that matter other players, but it's very clear that as effectively a play opener, Shell are not proposing to stop at this point." | solooiler
12/12/2019 23:05 | Looks like this has bottomed I can only see upside from here All imo | barnes4
12/12/2019 22:08 | I damn hope the exit poll is right. I think a risk factor for oilies including CLNR was a Corbyn government and the massive windfall tax they wanted to put in place. With oil showing strength this would be a boon all round | solooiler
12/12/2019 09:24 | You are correct SOLOILER and I think its SHELL again. Nevertheless I see the UK oil/gas sector as one of the best places to make a bob or two in 2020. Rock Rose being the Rolls Royce followed by CLNR and last IOG...not too interested in the others until the clouds clear. | anley
11/12/2019 22:55 | If you go and watch back the q+a from March this year from their presentation, there was a good hint that they might look to partner with Shell or others in other plays like Selene. I will find the quote tomorrow. If that happens, bet your bottom dollar this will fly (again) but with no question marks over cash this time nothing to cause a spike down again | solooiler
11/12/2019 22:21 | Completely agree with the above Also add to the mix 32 licensing round and that juicy joint application with another international oil and gas company IF that comes off there is another drill 4 near term chances of success | barnes4
11/12/2019 19:57 | Assault on 2p by end of January? Would still only be a market cap of 28m and so 13m being put on cluff's assets ahead of a momentous year Once they farm down Dewar, they'll have lets say 25% of something with NPV £555m all in so £139m of value with a partner ready to drill. And thats even before we talk about Shell | solooiler
11/12/2019 09:46 | OILBUY.........are you buying or have you bought in? | anley
11/12/2019 08:30 | Nice to see buying | oilbuy
11/12/2019 07:47 | BH you still holding here? | dunderheed
11/12/2019 07:30 | Cluff said earlier this year in a presentation that Shell are talking about Selene as an appraisal well because they were that confident. Either of the wells coming in and this is could be a £70m, £80m+ company in a flash. And Shell are covering most of the costs! Dewar looks incredible. Point me in the direction of another project which could have a 3 figure IRR. Most mining junk is 20-40% at best CLNR steam engine will be up and running soon. | solooiler
11/12/2019 07:07 | That cash will be gone in a flash with drilling activity. | divmad
10/12/2019 21:45 | yep - risk / reward is excellent here. | yellowdog
10/12/2019 15:44 | Some yesterday and will look to accumulate I think. Love buying cash rich plays into 6 months of heavier activity and when share price is v low | solooiler
10/12/2019 14:59 | Have you bought? | anley
10/12/2019 09:31 | 6 months of down trend as well which is the good time to normally buy. 80% of valuation in cash. partnership with royal dutch shell. Trend will break soon I think | solooiler
09/12/2019 19:31 | This looks interesting now here. £4m value being put on Cluff's resources. Looks sorely undervalued | solooiler
09/12/2019 10:25 | Well fair enough anley but I will stick to my view for now based on history | barnes4
09/12/2019 09:39 | Well BARNES you are allowed an opinion but mine is very different to yours when it comes to DEWAR having just been up to Scotland to have look at what is going on. | anley
06/12/2019 18:31 | Anley I am simply pointing out that this news is less likely than say a drill decision on Selene or Pensacola or the 32 licensing round results We have heard it all before from CLNR about a busy data room but in reality it can take years if ever!! 2248 Always happy to be proved wrong but I am not holding my breath as far as Dewar is concerned | barnes4
06/12/2019 17:29 | The Newlands had a big % in SQZ at around 18p and that turned out well !!!! | yellowdog
06/12/2019 12:45 | News is what the markets wants and besides what is your defination of Medium Term? The AIM market for O&E stocks is really terrible at the moment. Look no further than HUR, IOG and the best of the bunch RRE. I am not here to give you my research findings as that is for the investor to do himself. All I am doing is pointing out an interesting share deal where most people would not be able to do. | anley
06/12/2019 12:23 | Dewar might conceivably not be done in the medium term | barnes4 |
