North Sea gas pioneer makes case for UK to maintain output

NORTH Sea-focused Cluff Natural Resources has said the UK must maximise the production of gas in its waters to minimise reliance on supplies from overseas amid efforts to tackle climate change.

The company’s chairman Mark Lappin noted the Committee on Climate Change had recognised oil and gas would account for the bulk of the country’s energy needs while efforts are made to reduce net carbon emissions to zero by 2050.

Ummm strange creatures lurk on these bbs as the share price ticks up as people catch on eh Lizzie

That’s right an 18% discount to the recent extremely popular placing for the institutional investors

Thanks anley they need to push the story because seldom have I come across such a compelling investment case as this one

The share price defies both common sense or logic

Someone has been buying this morning!!!!..............and on the article Mark Lappin helped write,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Look at www.heraldscotland.com/business............

The heading is "North Sea gas pioneer makes case for UK to maintain output"

Hope this helps.

And now the buys are coming a little more frequently now but at an 18% discount to the recent placing and a fully funded company until end of 2021 with Shell as a partner it makes sense doesn’t it?

Or would you rather buy rubbish?

The larger buys are starting to trickle in as people are starting to think that they are not going to get much cheaper

I guess some will wait and chance it

Also you would hope that 1.4p will prove to be the bottom not guaranteed of course but a significant 18% discount to the placing price of 1.75p and a market cap of £5 million pounds stripping out the cash of 15 million pounds

Then you see punters buying shares in overpriced outfits with no cash

You got to chuckle

indeed let’s watch the private gamblers buy trash companies with no cash and little prospects while we await their inevitable arrival

Indeed BARNES..........but the sector is so shot up that the press don't seem to want to write up a good story.

Just look at the Parkmead price and their latest deal and CLNR have a 25% interest in one of their licenses which wont get touched as PMG have huge problems on their hands.

Everyone will agree with you but I would sit it out and buy......which I am doing as silence is a very good market tonic. There is not a great deal of stock about - so it seems - so this is the someones last chance to buy a meaningful amount in the marker place..............we will watch and wait.

Mr S needs to put the joint brokers to work and get the CLNR story out

£5 million cap for 2 farm outs with major Shell, and another farm out process commenced in July which could involve another major

Any commercial find on any of these licences would be simply transformative

Plus 15 million in the bank to boot providing funding until the end of 2021 which includes drilling 2 or more wells

GOOD..............

From MALCY's blog...........Cluff Natural Resources

"Not much to add at Cluff’s interims as all the news is good but all known already. In or after the period they did the farm-out to Shell, acquired the 3D, raised £15m and got the Dewar farm-out under way. Having met with the CEO relatively recently I can say that the company management is in good hands and the Chairman is also top notch, they are in the right post codes, well funded have good gas demand and as they put it, ‘ a world class business partner’ CLNR is in good nick".
