It's 2.10p v 2.20 at the best bid/ask, with 2.15p being paid.

The modest temporary drop is no surprise, given that CLNR was down at near to 1.70p as recently as early August. There will be a number of folks who will be keen to book their approx +20% gain, for whatever reason, although I'm not a seller myself.

Buy and hold for at least a double from here is my take on this one.

On 23 May 2018, the Company was provisionally awarded an additional 10 blocks in the Southern and Central North Sea by the UK Oil and Gas Authority in the UK's 30th Offshore Licencing Round. These blocks contain oil as well as gas prospects and are estimated to contain an additional 1.9 TCF of P50 prospective resource, taking the Company's total resource base to 4.3 TCF

Hi Chopsy - yes I know. However I believe they showed their hand when they bid for the same blocks that we were granted in the latest licensing round. Pretty sure that they would have been through the Clnr data room prior to bidding for those blocks and so they are well aware that a gas basin exists in the area. No advice intended but I still believe they are the most likely. GL

Hi Soulsauce - I would say Kristini and many others will make a significant profit in due course. However patience is still key, although it looks like we might get news in the not to distant future.

Spirit Energy still the front runners for me, although there may be others now too, which would be excellent. Would probably also ensure that we get deal possible too!

Finally we have something more positive to cling to after the latest RNS. Suspect this will now climb over the next few weeks before the news we’ve all been waiting for finally drops. Really hope it’s a big player when the news drops!

A two month extension would be pretty pointless unless they were reasonably confident of wrapping up a deal imo. With gas prices having shot up and the extension I think things may be finally looking more promising?
