28/11/2017 12:23 | Looking good. Think 2.5p this week is nailed on. | soulsauce
28/11/2017 11:08 | Offered at 2.20p .......... | anley
28/11/2017 11:00 | Offered at 2.06p.........so I am hoping that the seller who has been in the market for some time has stopped and buyers will now be enticed back in. Now the Cluff time table can be pushed like hell between now and February 2018. Remember that the Allenby price forecast is 12p. | anley
27/11/2017 22:03 | Also here’s a reminder on other news we have been waiting for since the April RNS 2017 is likely to be a key year for the Southern North Sea Gas Basin, with significant activity expected in the vicinity of the Company’s licences. This will include the results of the BP well being drilled in the Southern North Sea to a deep Carboniferous prospect near the Ravenspurn field, which could open up a new carboniferous play in the region, the drilling of a further exploration well immediately adjacent to the Cadence prospect by Centrica and the potential submission of field development plans for Centrica’s Pegasus discovery and Premier’s Tolmount discovery. | wordog
27/11/2017 21:57 | Let’s just take another look at the Economic Feasibility Study for P2248. The effect of the range of possible different reservoir volume sizes on the unrisked project NPV for the two prospects is shown in the Table 2.1 below. This analysis suggests that if a discovery is made, in a downside reservoir size scenario Cluff would make a small positive return, whereas Cluff would make an attractive net return in a Best Case scenario and a very strong return in an upside scenario NPV (£million) P90 P50 P10 Cadence p90 12.7 p50 47.6 p10 285.8 Bassett p90 3.0 p50 41.8 p10 183.1 Cluff can generate significant shareholder value if it can successfully drill an exploration well in either the Cadence or in the Bassett prospect. A discovery would, according to Xodus preliminary economic calculations, increase the EMV of Cadence from £5.5 MM to £86.6 MM (a £81 MM increase). For Bassett this would increase EMV from £12.9 MM to £69.0 MM (a £56 MM increase). | wordog
27/11/2017 21:46 | Think fair value ought to be at least 2.5p now with reduced risk and the upbeat words from Algy. Let's hope it gets there. | soulsauce
27/11/2017 21:25 | Checked my account at the close today, Christmas came early, I thought my average was 2.2, turns out it’s 1.85, almost in profit! | wordog
27/11/2017 21:18 | Very positive news today. I'm kicking myself that I didn't click on an offer of 1.64 for 250,000 shares earlier. It may well tick up substantially tomorrow. | limited access
27/11/2017 17:43 | Agreed .....a very big box ticked so the new time table is now set: 1 Farm Out by 31 May and if not a drill by 30 September 2018. 2 Cash to last until end of Q1 2018 so talks can now be speeded up perhaps with a statement before Xmas Other news is that NBP spot gas is 6.25p and firm which should help with the capital cash flows which CLNR have been doing with prospective partners. Well done the directors but speed this all up otherwise someone will build a quick stake and force the issues...........whi | anley
27/11/2017 16:45 | Well done everyone at CLNR. | clickon
27/11/2017 16:32 | Andrew Nunn said at the AGM that they felt they had fulfilled their obligations on the licences to get them extended completely correct. | clickon
27/11/2017 16:11 | That's one box ticked ;-) I would assume the way the share price reacted some of those that took part in the raising had sell orders set for 20% profit. | soulsauce
27/11/2017 16:04 | Great news. | soulsauce
27/11/2017 15:38 | Well I added at 1.75 followed immediately by that +ve RNs and a 10% share price gain. Still a wait though but at least there should be decent rewards for patience - all imho | maytrees
27/11/2017 13:39 | True, but doesn't it suggest that things haven't come to a complete halt. | clickon
27/11/2017 13:15 | Thing is Click, even if nothing comes of it, once you are in negotiations, the window to buy closes. I wouldn't read too much into it.Having said that, I wouldn't be feeling as comfortable as I do right now if they had raised the lot through flippers. They had to be a nudge and a wink involved. | doshdabbler
27/11/2017 13:10 | That's what I think dosh !On CHAL Mark Gustafson was making the point, he would like to buy shares but can't because he would be trading with insider information. | clickon
27/11/2017 13:00 | Historically, Algy has not been shy about buying shares, so I would think their hands are currently tied. Pity about the retrace, but ultimately this is about news rather than anticipation. Meanwhile, we await licence renewals. | doshdabbler
27/11/2017 12:12 | To my knowledge, though I would need to confirm it, directors did not by shares in the recent placing, they are not allowed to buy if the have information which would benefit them for | clickon
26/11/2017 11:29 | Keep in mind that Messrs Dorfman and Spencer could mop this company up with their petty cash so be synical and ask yourself the question as to why they came in. They and Cluff are big buddies.........and this story for them is Option Money. I think, with Xmas approaching, there will be no more news and February 2018 becomes the crunch time for the business. 1 Farm-in/out partner is found and all that entails or... 2 Shareholders fund the deal with a placing and claw back with PI shareholders participationg 3 A bid - partial or full blown comes along but there would have to be news for that to happen If the price goes back towards the 1.50p I am a buyer based on the value of gas in the sea bed............ | anley
26/11/2017 09:13 | You're right microscope, it was the name which was the original draw. I hope that you find a lot of 50p's behind the sofa! | clickon
25/11/2017 21:32 | Not yet click. If a few 50ps turn up behind the sofa will have a stab for old time's sake, but as LA suggests, it's also about timing! Anyone who can make a living out of naming stocks after himself for 40 odd years must be fair game. Bob Young eat your heart out ;) | microscope
25/11/2017 10:34 | I hope so, are you in on this one? | clickon
24/11/2017 18:45 | Saw thread by accident. Takes me back. First ever share in '80s, was Cluff Oil. Like first Grand National winner I got lucky. Then there was Cluff Oil and Gas; Cluff Resources... Good old Algy, still able to promise next year! :) This man has earned his hashtag #Algy | microscope |
