21/1/2007 13:32 | cat I do not have a position yet tho it's on my watchlist coz of the takeover rumours. It seems to have support at 260ish and resistance at 270ish at the mo. | m4m
20/1/2007 12:51 | The Times writes: Rumours that Bear Stearns, the American investment bank, is lining up a bid for the newly quoted Collins Stewart will not go away. I first raised them a month ago, and the bank is still not returning calls. Interestingly, a report appeared recently that Bear Stearns was planning a boost to its London presence, again to be met with no comment. The bank's Canary Wharf business is small, while some have speculated that Collins Stewart was separated from its Tullett Prebon sibling only in the hope of attracting a bid. Watch this space. Anyone else in this post demerger? | catandcrow
05/1/2007 12:07 | New Name, New Epic, New Thread: In May 2011, reflecting the growing number of opportunities for teams from Hawkpoint and Collins Stewart to work together for the benefit of clients, shareholders approved the change of name of Collins Stewart plc to "Collins Stewart Hawkpoint plc". All the individual businesses of the Group continue to trade under their existing names but the Group is now known as Collins Stewart Hawkpoint plc and trades under the London Stock Exchange EPIC/TIDM of "CSHP". | m4m |
