1. Churchill has a problem with the London Stock exchange of some claim, what's that all about and why has it come up now? (was it to do with the price hike May 2015..)

2. Seems like everyone knows ROI is lying but without Noor confessing seems like CHL could lose, right?

3. If CHL were to win, which everyone hopes. ICSID are not able to "force" ROI to pay up, is that correct?

Would like your constructive thoughts..

Very Best,

Rossannan,

A totally fabricated pretext, at least the Venezuelans are honest about their dishonesty!

Well, not quite no. I agree its more complicated, but the point being, the award wasn't just some token.

Hi Rossannan, I'd suggest it is a perfect precedent..................isn't expropriation of our asset exactly what RoI have attempted to do - as straightforward as you like!

I note that there's been an award last month for a company called Gold Reserve. Perhaps this will make the market a little more positive.

It was a big one.

Based on the above, the Tribunal ordered Venezuela to pay Gold Reserve US$ 713,032,000,
plus pre-award interest from April 14, 2008 through the date of the award at the U.S.
Government Treasury Bill Rate, compounded annually. Such pre-award interest amounts to
US$ 22,299,576.

A ruling based on the case so far, as the tribunal see it, with no appeal.

Any court, anywhere in the world, will lose patience with a party that changes its case on a regular basis. Whilst this is not subject to the strict rules of most courts, liberties the like of which ROI seem to be taking will ultimatly have a cost.

Personally, i cannot see this charade lasting much longer because the more you read about the antics of ROI, the more obvious are the time wasting tactics which put an unfair burden on the other party. I can see the tribunal calling a halt to the whole matter and giving an Arbitrary verdict.
