Nicky,Over the years, I have seen a few others like EO. etc. But you are largely correct in your assessment when looking at overall performance from IPO.The key to AIM is to take advantage of Smallcap growth phases, of which every company experiences various bouts of. But that's a question of research/awareness/timing and careful management. Not everyone's forte. But there have been fortunes made on AIM when a good strategy plays out. GKP, RKH, 88E and an endless list of Smallcaps had substantial growth phases. Most recently, there was the story of the couple in the Midlands who have made something like £36-37mln from SQZ, after buying into it in the oil downturn when it was 3-4p. SQZ now well over a £1. If it were me, I would gradually reduce my exposure after striking such a fortune. Mr Market always has a habit of taking back with one hand what it has gifted with the other.Ultimately, timing is everything and fortunes can be made and lost so results will vary across the board for investors.Cash

nicky21... I'll put my hand up, it was I. Bear in mind there has been a recent rights issue so the squiggely lines on the charts are not telling the full picture, although I must admit I am underwater with my positions at the moment. As it happens Moodys have just given ENQ an upgrade so out of interest please keep watching. If it doesn't recover dramatically before Christmas I will come around your house, lay on the floor and you can kick me.

He was too busy with all the other listings of loss making companies to have the time to get around to listing the profitable whiskey business....

Kinda makes you wonder just how he managed to make a success of the whiskey business

1, he was surely too busy going all around the world avidly pursuing prospects and making sure all the deals were secure and they were not sold any pups.... South Africa, Middle East . West Africa. South America ,Ireland etc etc....

2, for a gentleman that has been so unlucky over 10 years or more with 4 listed companies - how amazing non of that bad luck visited the unquoted whiskey operation....

I agree with dubian99, even though I do have a small punt on CLON getting a deal done. There is enough cash in the company now for a while yet so it's not going to go bust anytime soon.

I'm hoping there is some value in the last several years of negotiating with the Ghanaian authorities and that it just needs a final nod and approval.

Most investors lose most of their cash most of the time,
nearly all directors make a good living all of the time,

Nothin mystic about that

The poor sap who bought £10k worth might do ok yet. One slight hint of ratification coming and this will soar. That's the gamble here IMO.

It is possible and perhaps not too unlikely that CLON will finally receive the ratification for the Tano block. They've been at the table for many years with this license area.

However, I do understand the skepticism, I'm skeptical on 99% of AIM shares myself and the Stock exchange in general.

Exile and Lippe, its trolls like the two of you that end up causing a few people to commit suicide especially amongst the young, where internet bullying is rampant. The two of you were undoubtedly bullies in your youth and also cowards if face to face with an adversary. I like a bit of banter, some shares you win on some you lose, ye have it would seem lost on most of your investments.
I will not respond in future to either of you lowlifes.
Enjoy your lives if ye know how😜
