Does anyone know, how the placing was conducted? 18.85% increase in share capital to 'new investors', yet no holding RNS.

Was it forward placed? Do companies ever say? Seems like many AIM companies raise huge amounts of money and don't even say how or with who or the 'nature' of it?

All they said was 'New Investors'? Who are they or possibly, who 'were' they?

Ask yourself this question..... If you were a member pf Parliament in Ghana and you had carried out due diligence on Clontarf Energy, a foreign company with a long history of "Honest failure" would you be willing to risk awarding a license to tap the country's natural resources ??? And what can Clontarf Energy do that many other companies indigenous and foreign couldn't do better ?

The deal is going to Parliament in the next two weeks and then once its approved , to the President.Looks like an exciting few weeks coming up?

Maybe the share price of CLON was easier to move.... manipulate if you like, worth almost zero you could buy the lot for a few quid .....

But look at the chart and you can see what happens when you try to sell them again....

Hi guys,

I was wondering if any of you could explain why Clontarf share price increased so much more than Petrel Resources share price (PET.L)?

CLON owns 60% of the Ghana Tano 2A asset
PET owns 30% of that same asset

Prior to resolving the issues with Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), CLON share price was c. 0.20p. It is now trading close to 0.5p, which is a 150% increase.

On the other hand, PET saw its share price only increased from 1.6p to 1.85p which is only a 15% increase!

What am I missing here? Does not make much sense that CLON SP, on one hand, is rising by 150% whilst PET share price lags behind at 15%??
