08/6/2017 13:07 | I do ok. I don't ramp or deramp. I was in before the news. I make good money after reading a psychology report on traders. It said that the people who make good money are the ones that run their profits and cut their losses. The general mistake traders make is that they want to confirm their wins and they sell too soon. Or they ignore their losses, thinking they'll come good, as they don't want the negativity of booking a loss. I'm running some of my profits as I think this will multiply. | janestone

08/6/2017 07:39 | 13 October 2014 The board of Petrel are pleased to report that an agreement has been reached with the Ghanaian authorities on the specific revised co-ordinates of the signed Petroleum Agreement on a licence Block in the Tano area of Ghana. This solution is satisfactory for the Company and brings the Company's interests in acreage closer to existing discoveries. As announced in July 2014, it was agreed that additional, contiguous acreage will be added to preserve the size of the Block, and a revised Activity Map has been circulated. The agreement is between Pan Andean Resources Ltd (60% Clontarf Energy plc, 30% Petrel Resources plc, 10% local interests) the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation and the Government of Ghana. All parties have committed themselves to, and are acting to complete, the ratification process in accordance with law, which requires Cabinet and Parliamentary approval. | lippe

08/6/2017 07:16 | Clontarf Energy (LON:CLON) From Yesterday: Awarded Block 18 in Equatorial Guinea NORTHLAND VIEW Clontarf Energy has been awarded Block 18 (EG-18) in the 2017 Equatorial Guinea Bid Round. The Block covers approximately 5,056km2 of undrilled deep water acreage within the Northern Rio Muni Basin. Clontarf Energy will have a 70% of production interest, with 65% oil cost recovery. The production royalty is a standard 13% that rises to 16% on production over 100,000BOPD and the profits tax is 35%. The contractor interest starts at 80% through the first 40MMbbl, and falls according to a standard formula until output reaches 200MMbbl. Other terms include: a $150,000 signature bonus; standard commerciality and production bonuses; normal land taxes. The initial work programme is 3 years (extendible) to include seismic acquisition plus one well if drillable targets are identified. The second sub-period is 2 years, with two extensions of one year each accompanied by a work programme. Clontarf Energy has been awarded acreage in Equatorial Guinea alongside ExxonMobil, Taleveras and Ophir Energy. This is a major development for Clontarf Energy as Block 18 contains a diverse range of Cretaceous sands plays, including distal fan and turbidite channels that are visible on historic seismic data. Clontarf plans to focus on working the large structural and/or stratigraphic trap targets and will finalise the fine details in meetings scheduled with the Equatorial Guinea authorities. 08/6/2017 07:07 | The Greed and Glory Boys .. Since the 1995 discovery of oil off Equatorial Guinea's shores, human rights in the country have improved little. Today, one could say the government exploits poverty to kill hope, as effectively as it uses torture to get confessions. Once a country based on subsistence agriculture, petroleum has converted Equatorial Guinea into a mono-economy. Equatorial Guinea is consistently ranked one of world's most corrupt countries by Transparency International in its annual Corruption Perceptions Index. In 2006 the World Bank estimated 76.8% of the population was living in poverty. | lippe |
