There is the trade that caused the problem a late reported from 9.05 a 100000 sell at 53.30 which is at least 2p lower than any other of todays 135 trades. The buys are now at 57p and the Buy volume still exceeds the sell volume when that 100000 is added.

Chevron Corp. is considering opportunities to produce lithium that would be used in electric vehicle batteries, Chief Executive Officer Mike Wirth said in a Bloomberg interview.

The lithium interest from US oil majors contrasts with their counterparts in Europe, which have been more aggressive in certain energy-transition areas like wind, solar and power services. US companies have focused on adjacent areas of their fossil fuel business such as carbon capture and storage, hydrogen and lithium. Chevron itself has made clear it has no plans to invest significantly in big wind and solar projects, saying the returns are low and the competition is too high.

Earlier in July, Exxon Mobil Corp. CEO Darren Woods said the energy giant is exploring opportunities to produce lithium. The price and availability of lithium is crucial to whether EVs can scale up.

Sold BAB and SHEL today so open to suggestions for another home for some funds? Please don’t say CTL as I’ve enough (well actually not nearly enough) and shouldn’t buy more!

Love the MMs spread. They'll drop the bid and yet limited amount to buy. Any buying pressure and you'll see the reversal

You only need to look at the broker targets and the fact it's been reported the likes of Tesla and other huge users of lithium are looking at the source of their end product requirements to safeguard their future and keep supply chain integrity.A multi multi bagger in the making

Llamara is the absolute massive cherry on the top for me that MIGHT even dwarf the cake. It’s pretty much unknown but we know lithium is in the rocks in the area due to cores taken by another company some years ago so the brines will have leached some of that lithium out, of course how much is the big question. IF that resource proves to have concentrations similar to LV and FB then this won’t be a 7 bagger it will be a billion pound company imo.

Just imagine where this is going when the JORC is out for Llamara and even better when we decide on a suitable customer/s to take our product. It rather looks like CTL will be in the driving seat by year end.

Yahoo Finance -

Soaring electric vehicle sales paint a bright picture for lithium demand in the years ahead. Chile-focused miner CleanTech Lithium (LSE:CTL) could prove a great way to profit from this theme.

Indeed, the penny stock leapt on Monday after significantly upgrading resource estimates for its gigantic Laguna Verde asset. The flagship mine is now said to contain 1.8m tonnes of the battery metal, while measured and indicated resources were lifted by 39% to 1.1m tonnes.

Chief executive Aldo Boitano has said that the upgrade provides more confidence in the resource potential and further de-risking of the project after an extensive work programme this year. The pre-feasibility study is now underway, with CleanTech seeking annual production of 20,000 tonnes at the project.

The AIM company is also working on two other assets, one of which - Francisco Basin - is also expected to yield resource upgrades this quarter.

CleanTech's mission to produce 'green' lithium from brine projects reduces the nationalisation risk. Its Direct Lithium Extraction method negates the need for evaporation, thus cutting the impact on local environment. The projects will also be completely powered by renewable energy.

I predict you'll see a surge this afternoon and the MM will move it quickly as many also see this level as the pivotal point and many will be waiting for the confirmation it's been cleared. As I posted yesterday, I suspect the move for end users to start to monopolise the resource that's in high demand is a smart and intelligent play. When the market gets wind of those transactions, the broker targets will get hit quickly.

Most trades today have been at 60p or above and 61p has been paid twice so far. It has kept having a go at 60p for the last 2 days but has not held it to the close. Once it closes above 60p it should be poised to move higher fairly quickly as this is way below broker targets with further value creating news due within weeks.

The return to 60p is just correcting an unjustified fall and returning CTL to where it was in April. The real rise towards the broker target starts here.
The 3 analysts offering 12 month price targets for Cleantech Lithium PLC have a median target of 290.00, with a high estimate of 295.00 and a low estimate of 250.00. The median estimate represents a 395.73% increase from the last price of 58.50.
